Somewhere With You

"Just relax like you always do when I hold you. Go limp, just relax all your muscles." After kevin was relaxed he would let go and show Kevin he was floating on the water. All by himself.

It took Kevin a moment but he closed his eyes and relaxed himself.

Rick smiled at Kevin as he let go. Kevin was floating on top of the water. Rick took a few steps backwards.
"Baby, open your eyes." Rick whispered, grinning.

Kevin let his eyes flutter open.
"Hmmmm OH MY GOD IM FLOATING!!!"
It was hard for him not to start thrashing around.

Rick chuckled at him.
"Now y'know if you'd roll onto your stomach and paddle with your arms and legs you'd be doing the doggy paddle which is still swimming." He grinned.

Kevin did that, he rolled onto his belly and started paddling like a dog,.

Rick giggled, ready to catch Kevin if he sank under the water.
"See? Easy."

Kevin whined as he slowly began to sink.
He felt kinda dumb, he was going to be eighteen soon.

Rick quickly grabbed him, still smiling proudly.
"Baby that was good for your first time."

Kevin blushed.
"Good, I felt dumb. Im like eighteen and I cant swim."

"You've never tried before babe. I'm sure you'll have it down in now time." He grinned.

Kevin giggled as he wrapped his legs around Rick's waist.
"This is perfect."

"Yes yes it is." Rick grinned. He leaned in and kissed Kevin passionately. "No, NOW it is perfect."

"I wished I didnt need my parents so much. I would love to love here."
But Zac would never see Quincy...

And Zac would NOT like that...
"I know, I think I need our parents as much as you do." He grinned.

"What would we do without the,? Even if they fight all the time they are mommy and daddy."

"I have no clue. I love em so much." He smiled. "And I could deal without the abusive psychopath but I need Biddy bird to." He smirked.

"I love them all so much but I love it here...."
He really did, this was beautiful.

"So do I baby." Rick nodded. "I always have but it's even better with you." He smiled

"I wanna stay here....On our island."
He really would love living here.

"Are you serious baby?" Rick asked incredulously, smiling.

'Yeah I kinda am...I love it here."
He didnt know what he would tell his family....

"But baby are you ready to leave your family...??" Hell, he didn't know if he was and they weren't even his biological family

"I don't know. They are OUR family, I will miss them so much.... I mean I wont have momma to remind me to take my medicine or anything, him nor daddy will be their to help us and I need to love my daddy. And Rick Jr will wanna grow up around his memaw and grandpa..."

"Why don't we wait a bit more, til Rick Jr is older and doesn't require as much work to take care of. And til we are more mature and can handle living on our own. This island isn't going anywhere.." He smiled.
