Undesired

Dewayne waved them off, turning over and thinking about this a little bit harder.

David popped his head in and smiled. He thought Dewayne was asleep. So he went out to the store. He bought everything he needed and arrived home, setting up the living room for his surprise.

Dewayne wasn't though, he sat up and sighed.
"David!!"

"One moment sweetness!" He called, cursing as he burnt himself with a candle. He ran up the stairs moments later, blocking the door.
"What is ti baby?"

"Are you going to leave me when your old lover dies?"
It was blunt and he didnt beat around the bush.

David blinked, sitting down beside Dewayne.
"Where'd this come from?" He sighed.

"I have thought about it for a while and......And I love you and I just wanna know. I think I deserve that much." He nodded.

David sighed.
"Dewayne.... I don't think I can so no. I loved him... and it hurts. I missed him. But you've helped me Dewayne. You got me over him and I... I love you so, so much... more than I've ever loved anything... So, no. I won't leave..."

Dewayne didnt know how much eh believed it but he still took his boyfriends hand.
"Okay baby...."

"I want to show you something. Come with me." David said gently, standing and leading Dewayne down the staircase.

Dewayne held onto his hand as he followed, tired from all the nights events already.

"Happy four month anniversary...." David smiled sheepishly as he led Dewayne in the decorated living room. There was soft music in the background, rose petals scattered here and there. The room had been cleared out for dancing except for a small table in the center of the room which had a red tablecloth with a candle in the middle along with two plates of Dewayne's favorite dish.

Dewayne cocked his head to the side in amazement.
Four months.....
He and David had been together for that long...

David's cheeks were a light red.
"Sorry.... I'm being silly aren't I?" To him four months was big... he'd been counting the days... but maybe not everyone did that... would he scare Dewayne away with this?

"N-No....I-Im just....I have never felt so special and this is amazing....so sweet. I just never expected it, I mean...I love it so much and we have been together for this long,,,It really is special...'

"Four months isn't really a big number I guess.... he always used to complain about how corny and romantic I was." He shrugged with a small smile.

Dewayne sighed softly.
"Its a bid deal to me...."
He hadnt even realized...

David smiled softly.
"Well... if you want we can eat or dance or something..."

Dewayne grinned.
"I was tired but now....Im wide awake, lets do everything we can.'

David smiled softly holding out a chair for him like a gentleman.

Dewayne grinned and blushed a bit as he sat down and twiddled his thumbs.
"This is nice..."

"Tell me if I went overboard or anything... I just figured we haven't really had a real date yet. Unless you count our therapy sessions." He chuckled.

"I love every second I get to spend with you...Im so happy...." He grinned widely.

David smiled.
"Then I am too..." He sat down

Dewayne ate slowly, savoring his food as he watched his boyfriend with light brown eyes.
