He handed Chris the police report back.
"And well...The night it happened Daddy gave momma and ultimatum...Him or Dustin and Of coarse momma chose daddy so he and Dustin fought and Dustin went off....The reason he was on the road that night..."

Chris immediately tensed up. He remembered that... he was there...
He remembered glaring at Dustin. Remembered thinking that man was being a total jackass to Alex... remembered being glad when Mike had turned him away.
And that meant it was his fault too.... he had been on Alex's side that night, trying to piss Dustin off.... oh god.
Chris simply shook his head, standing there.
