"My nephew. Zac." He placed kisses in the back of Dustin's hair. It was damp with sweat but Chris didn't mind.

He wasn't ready for a baby.... oh god, he was awful. Chris scolded himself mentally as he tried to calm his child desperately. Dewayne left him and as soon as the baby was older it would too.

Dustin stood behind Chris and took the bottle, plucking Lance from his arms and sticking the bottle in his mouth.
He was silent as he started to drink.

Yeah, that hadn't gone too well. He had left Rick alone in the kitchen. Turns out Rick had dropped a knife on his foot...

Lance was done quickly, the poor child had been starving, babies need to be feed at certain times and Lance had been abandoned for hours.
