"No....I love him but I wont make him be miserable..."

"MOMMA PLEASE!" Rick fell to his knees, head in his hands.

Mike shook his head, pulling Rick up and holding him close as Kevin's eyes slipped shut.

"MOMMA YOU CANT LET HIM DO THIS!!! HE ISNT GONNA COME BACK" He screamed

Mike was quiet, running his fingers through Rick's hair.

"He might be baby..."

Rick stayed quiet except for the loud sobs that escaped his lips.

"Rick....What were you to fighting over this time." He held Kevin's hand, feeling for a pulse that was no longer there.

"I D-didn't want him cutting himself..." Rick sniffled,

".....So what was his defense? Why did it turn into all of this Rick?"

"He said that was the only thing that would keep him from going insane if he let me see that baby....."

"So he was no suicidal when he said this. And he was letting you see the kid....What then?"

"I just told him I didn't want him to cut anymore! I said he'd end up killing himself and I couldnt deal with that!"

"I don't think he would have killed himself not meaning too. So....The deal was....You can see the baby as long as he can cut? And you didnt like that either?"

"Of course I didnt! I can't let him cut!" He sniffled.

"Rick, there has to be something to take the pain away for him and cutting does it. Its either that, or you leave and he kills himself until he wont come back and leaves you jr and Zac.

"Momma you're going to let your baby cut himself?" Rick asked incredulously.

"Yes....Because if I don't....He will get on drugs or something...Kill himself...Let him cut as long as it keeps him from all that."

"O-Okay...." Rick sniffled, rubbing at his eeys

Mike sighed and kissed his cheek.
"Rick....Deal with it until he is used to the baby, maybe then you can work on getting him to stop okay? Right now your driving him to suicide...It will be okay ba-....Rick."

"M-momma I'm so so sorry for what I said..." He rocked himself back and forth.

Mike paused, sighing softly.
"C'mere." He pulled Rick to his chest.
