When Crickets Cry...

Brayden whined for a bit before falling back asleep himself.

Gabriel was alone in his room, just wondering what to do. He had been listening to Riley and Sean for a while until Riley left.

Zac walked up the stairs and knocked on Gabriel's door.
"Baby can I come in?"

Gabriel thought about it but tapped on the wall twice, that was the sign for yes, once was no.

Zac quietly walked into the room, shutting the door behind him and sitting beside Gabriel on the bed.
"Honey... why do you do this?"

Gabriel raised a brow to his mother, tapping three times for he didn't understand.

"I mean... why do you let people fuck you baby? We all tried to get you to stop...." He sighed softly

Gabriel shrugged.
It was to feel loved for only an hour.....
It was to make up for not feeling like his mother loved him.

"Baby... talk to me please.. well you can write it if you want, just explain to me..." He sighed.

Gabriel sat up and sighed.
"I want to feel loved....."

"But you are loved sweety. By me, by your daddy, by your brothers and sisters, by everyone in this family. And if you would settle down you'd have a lover..."

Gabriel shook his head.
"You don't love me...."

"Gabriel.... what are you talking about? Of course I love you.." Zac gasped but he had known this was coming.... Gabriel always had thought Zac didn't love him and he had become a whore to deal with it.... it was his fault...

Gabriel shrugged.
"Who needs your love anyways when they can have the love of any man who comes within ten feet?"

Zac closed his eyes to keep from crying.
"Gabe... baby.... how can you think I don't love you?"

"You fucking cringe when anyone says my name..." He pointed out.

Zac cursed to himself. He thought he'd gotten better at that.
"But baby... thats for a different reason. You're my baby.... I love you more than anything.."

"Sure." He shrugged and shook his head.
He didnt believe it...

"Gabriel... honey what can I do to make you believe I love you..?"

"Can't, so just let it go mother." He sighed, he didnt wanna die.

"No. I can't let it go. My baby thinks I don't love him..." Zac shook his head.

"Because you don't." Gabriel rolled his eyes at his mother.

"Yes! Yes I do!" Zac exclaimed helplessly.

"Go away Zac."
No his momma....
A mother should love him.

"Okay.." Zac whispered. He stood, kisisng the top of Gabriel's head, leaving the room before letting tears roll down his cheeks.
