Momma's Little Girl

Jasmine groaned softly as she tried to go to sleep. The pain in her side just wasn't going away, and she hadn't told either of her mother's about it yet. She wasn't feeling very well either, she felt hot......very hot. She laid in bed wrestling with the idea of yelling for her parents.

Amy had a bad feeling so she got up to go check on Jasmine.

Jasmine was trying to pretend to be asleep. She didn't want them to worry.

"Jasmine are you ok?" Amy asked softly.

Jasmine didn't answer. She wanted Amy to think she was asleep.

Amy sighed and went back to the living room but she couldn't shake the bad feeling.

Samantha sat down next to her. She placed a gentle hand on Amy's knee. "Relax darlin."

"Honey i think that there's something wrong with Jazz." Amy said.

"What makes you think that baby?" Samantha asked.

"Its just a feeling i have." Amy answered.

Samantha nodded. "Why don't we wait 'til she gets up and we'll check on her."

Amy sighed and nodded "Ok."

Samantha gently stroked Amy's hair when she heard the soft call of "Momma...." from the bedroom.

Amy got up and went to Jasmine's room "Yes honey?"

"It hurts momma....." whined Jasmine.

Amy hurried over to her "What hurts honey?"

Jasmine pointed to the offending area of her lower right abdomen. She was so tender now she was afraid to touch it. "Hurts there...." said Jasmine.

Amy nodded and picked Jasmine uo "We're taking you to the hospital."

Jasmine squirmed a little. "Momma no...." Jasmine whined.

Amy sighed and carried her to the living room.

"How is she?" Samantha asked.

"She says her stomach and side hurt." Amy answered.
