When Crickets Cry...

"A lot of things. But none you can give to me momma." He smiled softly.

"Okay baby....Your daddy?" He would go get Rick if he needed to.

"Nope. I want Quincy then... and I want the baby that I just murdered. Only thing you can do is just sit here with me?" He kissed his cheek.

Kevin nodded and curled up with him, closing his eyes tiredly.

Zac curled up on his chest and fell asleep, snoring softly.

Quincy never came home.
He was out with Mark all night.

Mark had been out walking, thinking of a way to get ZAc without Aaron knowing when Quincy found him.

And Quincy had done....
Unspeakable things to him.

Yes.. Mark was definitely dead.
Zac was worried as he waited for his lover.

Quincy came home, bloody, tired, but happy with what he had done.

"Have fun?" Zac yawned up at him. He'd been up for about an hour now.

"Yeah." He smiled and picked his lover up, kissing him deeply.

Zac beamed as he kissed back. Words couldn't describe how much he'd missed those kisses.
He pulled back.
"Memaw gave me the medicine, should be dead already." He nodded to his stomach which had deflated a good bit.

Quincy bit the inside of his cheek, sighing and gently touching Zac's stomach.
"Oh precious...."

Zac smiled sadly up at him.
"You happy?" It wasn't said sarcastic and bitter like he normally would've meant it. It was an honest question.

A pause.
"Yes Precious....Im happy...."
He felt bad but he was so happy...

"Good. Thats all I want." He smiled softly.

"What about you baby? Are you happy Zac?" Quincy pressed their foreheads together.

Zac sighed.
"I... I really didn't want to kill it... and I'm hurting... but I need you Quincy... anything to keep you happy babe." He kissed him softly.

Quincy looked away from him.
Zac wanted to have someone else's baby....

"Baby, please don't do that. It isn't like I loved Mark so much I wanted to keep his kid. Its that, my mother aborted me and it makes me feel like shit when I think of it. And I'd never want a child of mine to feel like that." He sighed, caressing his cheek.

Quincy shook his head.
"Im going to shower."
And with that he stalked off.

"For the love of god." Zac muttered, lying on the couch. He'd just killed his baby for Quincy and it wasn't good enough.

Quincy couldnt like it, he hated that child...Hated Mark...
And Zac wanted to keep a baby that wasnt his?

And Zac didn't WANT it... but he didn't WANT to kill it either.... he wanted it to have a mother... didn't want it to be bitter and hating like he had been.
