If I Had You

Mike had been at the same bar almost all night, he had lost his United States Championship and it was killing him. Mike downed another shot, just thinking about Daniel Bryan with HIS belt made his blood boil. Mike's phone had been ringing off the hook, other super stars were worried about him, they hadn't seen him since his match. Mike thought bitter thoughts to himself about Daniel and how the man always had to embarrass him, just had to do something to him. Mike ordered another shot, ready to spend the night at this bar, just trying to forget.

Luckily for Miz at that point, Edge strolled in and spotted him. Quickly Edge raced to his side. "Oh there you are, man. You scared me to death!"

"Hmmmmmm Whaaaa?" Mike slurred. "Whada want Edge?"

"Holy ****, your drunker than Hardy used to get. What happened, man?"

"Losted my bleeeltd ta Danny." Mike slurred, offering Edge his shot glass.

"Oh right, that nut Daniel Bryan."

"Yeahhh." Mike slurred, looking up at Edge. "I lost to a-a rookie punk." Mike shook his head, disappointed in himself.

Edge put his arm around his dejected friend. "It's ok man. Remember you have a rematch clause."

"He'll probably beat me then tooo." Mike sighed. "I will never be big....I will always be big mouth Miz." Mike hiccuped.

"Thats not true."

"Nmmmmm you say that cuz yourrr stilll so great." Mike mumbled.

"Thats not true either. I care about ya Mike."

"Yeahhhh thats good to know" Mike smiled at Edge. "You want to know something?"

"Sure, what?"

"I likeees you." Mike giggled. "Have for sometimme." Miike got really somber. "Bet ya dont want to wait you time with me though huh?

"I'd love to chill with ya sometime man."

Mike laughed and turned to face Edge. "Not that like." Mike paused. "Like this." And Mike kissed him, sloppily on the lips.

Edge was a little surprised by Miz's sudden affection but kissed him back nonetheless.

Mike pulled away and giggled, in his drunken state his mind dint really capture what had just happened. If Mike had been in his right mind he would have never done that, for fear of Edge being disgusted and not returning his feelings. "Aaaaaaadam....." Mike clumsily got up, almost tripping. "Do ya wanna dance."

"Normally I would, but right now your a touch bit too drunk bud."

"Awwwww" Mike whined at him, tugging on his arm. "Pleassse Adam, I don't wanna sit here and think anymore."

"Ah...all right. Just promise you'll be careful."

Mike laughed. "What and I being careful about? Scared imma step on ya?" Mike's body swayed unsteadily.

"I don't want ya getting hurt."

"How am I going to get hurt? Your here to protect me." Mike laughed, dragging Edge out onto the dance floor.
