Tough Little Boys

"Baby I'd have nothing at all. I need you." He kissed him softly.

Mike once again jerked away, wiping his mouth hard on his sleeve.

Alex cursed himself. He'd been trying so hard not to kiss him again and then he'd let go... their conversation had been so sweet. He was calm, his guard was down.
That had hit him hard... stung so bad. He turned his head away and pretended his eyes were not watering.

Mike simply wiped his mouth with his napkin and started eating like it never happened.

Alex was close to breaking down. The first time had been a slight pang. Still painful but he got through it. This time... they'd been in the middle of such a meaningful conversation.... falling back in love. Just like their real first date and then... such a rude and obvious shut down...
He felt a warm tear slide down his cheek. Shit. He couldn't do this. Couldn't bawl. Not here. Not now.

Mike looked up at him, dropping his fork and blinking a time or two.
"O-Oh baby, I didn't mean to make you cry!"
He stood, gently pushing Alex over so he could sit down before tugging him into his arms.

"I'm not crying. Quit it..." Alex shook his head, refusing to look at Mike.

Mike gently wiped the tear away, pulling Alex to his chest.
"I didn't mean to...Oh Alex..."

"How am I supposed to feel when you keep pushing me away..." Alex sighed heavily.

Mike cooed at him, pressing him close.
"Alex baby....you remember our first kiss? I didn't let you kiss me until at least the fourth date....This is the first. We are starting over...No kisses baby....You gotta wait, fall in love and want that kiss so bad....You remember how it felt?"

"But... we're in love... least I am... I... I don't want to start over all again baby.. I love you... I can't not kiss you..."

Mike sighed, shaking his head.
"Alex....we worked so hard tog get to where we are and where are we? You just had ANOTHER MANS baby. I admit, I had Quincys but where were you when he was fucking me huh? With Lane. Where have you been lately? With Dustin. What did I do when you were gone? I fucked Rick. Alex we are not in a good place....Not at all....this cant go on..."

"Then... I... okay....." Alex sighed heavily.

"Your not the only one who wants a kiss but I refuse to let myself have the, right now. I don't deserve them."
Mike hated himself for cheating with Rick...

"Mikey... just one? Then we can start over?" He sighed

"Why would I kiss you? Your not my boyfriend....We are just friends....Why would you want anything with me..."
Mike remembered, he and Dustin had been maybe five, Mike had asked Dustin why he wanted to marry him.
The boy said "So i can kiss you any time I want."
They shared their first kiss...

Alex sighed.
"Mikey I'm serious... please... one more and I'll be good..."

"Liar but alright....Take your one kiss but I dont promise to wipe my mouth after wards."
Didnt mean he would.

"Please don't wipe your mouth." He sighed heartbrokenly as he leaned in and pressed their lips together.

Mike pressed back, his arms winding around Alex's waist as he deepened the kiss, making sure it would last.

Alex never wanted to pull back. He caressed Mike's cheek as he kissed him with all the love he had

Mike finally pulled back, not wiping his lips but smiling sweetly.
"There....Our first kiss."
He giggled.

Alex chuckled softly at him.
"Amazing first kiss..."

Mike nodded.
"Now, no more for a while." He nodded.

"ALright baby. No more." Alex sighed but nodded.
