I Know A Thing or Two About A Sweet Little Sister...

Three year old Samantha James was curled up in the back of her closet behind her clothes, hiding from her mother and older brother. Today was the day for her shots and she hated them.

"Sammy come out i know your in there." Five year old Leo said as he stood in front of Samantha's closet.

Samantha didn't move, didn't say a word. She hoped her brother would just go away.

Leo sighed as he opened the door "Sammy you going to get into trouble with momma if you don't come out."

"I not goin' Le-Le, won't do it," the brunette mumbled.

"You have too Sammy." Leo said as he sat next to his sister.

"I don't wanna......." whined Samantha. "It hurts....."

Leo hugged her "I know but it helps you."

"Please Le-Le.........don't make me......." pouted the smaller child, her lower lip quivering.

"Sammy please do it for me?" Leo asked his little sister softly.

"S'not fair," Samantha mumbled. "You don't gotta get poked like me......you don't gotta go to all the doctors I do.........s'not fair........"

"I'm sorry Sammy i don't know why i no get poked like you." Leo said softly.

"Cause you can walk," mumbled the smaller child

Leo hugged her close.

"I don't wanna go......" Samantha whined.

Leo sighed softly as he heard their mother coming.

Samantha whimpered, scooting back into the back of her closet.

Leo sighed "Please sis i'll play whatever game you want to later."

"It hurts," Samantha whimpered again. "Don't wanna go........please can I stay home, just one time......."

"Sammy momma is going to make you go you know that." Leo said softly.

"Can't you hide me?" asked the brunette. "Just this once........."

Leo swallowed hard "I....."

Samantha was about to say something when their mother walked in. "C'mon you two."

Leo sighed and looked at Sammy.

"You stay with me?" she asked softly.
