Cowgirls Don't Cry.

Dustin pulled Devin off to his and Chris's room, laying down with his son in his arms.

Deivn nuzzled his father's neck, snuggling deep into the strong chest.

Dustin didnt mind being sick if he got to snuggle his babies and his husband...

Devin loveed feeling like a child again like this....

Weeks went by, Dustin slowly, almost noticeably began to show signs of sickness and radiation. His weight went from a healthy 220 to 190, his shoulder slumped just a bit more, his movements weren't as sharp but even so, he was still working while he could. After chemo everyday, he came home and he was sick. he puked and took a nap, then got back out on the farm.

Chris just wasn't the same... his husband was dying and he hated it. Hated watching his big tough cowboy slowly withering into nothing...
Devin was just as bad. He had to be strong for his father just like his father was strong for him when he needed it..

At this moment Dustin was at Mike and Alex's home, getting his chemo done. Mike was his doctor, he refused to let anyone else do it. Mike might be mad now but he was...getting so much better, He was slowly forgiving Dustin AND LANE and he was turning back into the sweetheart he was when he was young.

Chris and Devin were there too. Devin was in Chris's lap which was rare for them

Mike was quiet, holding Dustin's hand and just watching the man, his face was pale, he already looked as if he were about to puke.

Devin took his father's other hand and squeezed gently.
"It's alright daddy..."

Dustin turned his head away, eying Mike miserably.
He didn't want his son or husband seeing him like this...
Mike looked at Devin, standing up and gently tugging the boy.
"Sweetheart, lets go out into the living room, I don't think your daddy's want's you in here right now, he is sick, your upsetting him, he doesnt want you to see it so lets let him rest and go see momma huh?"

Devin frowned deeply. He wanted to be there for his father.
"Whatever..."

Mike sighed softly, leading him out.
"Devin...baby, I know you dont like me but you know your dad...He doesnt want his son seeing that and he wants me to try and get Chris out...its only upsetting him..."

"I don't wanna upset him I just... he's always been there for me. I wanna be there for him."

"I know Dev, but when he is there for you, you need it and he does too but...right now it will only upset him more. You know how hard headed that man is."

Devin nodded slowly.
"Okay Mike."

Mike took his hand and lead him into his room with his lover. The smaller man pecked Alex's lips sweetly, combing his fingers through Alex's hair.
"Hey baby...Watch Dev for a while while Dustin's in chemo and possibly Chris if I can get him out.

"ALright." Alex nodded. Gee this should be fun. Two people who now hated his guts.

Mike smiled softly and shook his head.
"Ill get Kev to come and sit with you, and ill be back when Dustin is nice and set up." He turned back to the room with Dustin, gently pulling Chris away.

Chris looked at Mike with a frown.
"What?"

"Come out of here, Chris baby, you know Dustin, you know he doesnt want you seeing this and its upsetting him right now and god knows he dont need that while this sick, come in here with Dev and Alex and Me and Kev while Dustin's getting taken care of.

Chris frowned, thinking this over before nodding. He kissed Dustin's cheek softly before following Mike.

Mike had Kevin down, he had an arm around Devin, sitting beside Alex. Mike took a seat in his lovers lap.
"Hey babies."

Alex smiled.
"Hey babe.."
Chris silently tugged Devin into his own lap as he sat on Kevin's other side.

Kevin took a breath, looking at them all.
"So are we all being mad at Daddy or just Chris and Devin still?"
Mike sighed, stroking Alex's cheek.
"Just them."
Kevin nodded, looking over at them.
"Truce till uncle Dustin feels better?"
