Cowgirls Don't Cry.

Evan Mike frowned at Alex for a moment.
Alex had broken Kelton's heart....
And so had Rick and Chris....
And especially Dustin.

Alex hung his head as Sydney stroked his hair. She had no clue why but she knew her father had done something wrong...

Mike stood, Kelton clinging to him.
"This is ridiculous. Rick, it was your idea, Dustin now hates his child and his mother because Chris actually was spiteful enough to go along with it. And Alex, im ashamed of you. For Chris you turned this boy away. Do any of you stop to think whats this doing to Kelton? No, apparently not, your worried about your own petty shit and leave Kelton to suffer for it." Mike's bottom lip trembled as he looked at them all. "I expected better from you guys...' He sighed and carried Kelton up to Kevin's room.

Rick growled.
"It was thirteen fucking years ago! You dont' think we regret it?!" He yelled after him/

Mike looked back.
"Rick, it doesnt matter how long ago it was he is still paying for it! He is hurt and he cant come to his momma, his father fucking mean to him! Alex snapped at him, and you thought it all up. Im sure you regret it and you should but..that doesnt change it..."

"He can come to his momma! If he wasn't so fucking stubborn! His momma fucking loves him more than anything!" Rick shouted. He was getting pissed.
Chris tugged on his shirt.
"Knock it off! He hissed.

"His momma though Rick went along with your stupid ass! You don't know how Dustin treats him and neither does Chris! He doesnt cry to Chirs about it, he cries to himself! Because of you two, every day he is out cast from his family okay? His father doesnt want him and Dustin makes that fucking clear!! You sit down and shut up, you dont know anything about raising a child."
Rick's children...
Zac gone and married with eight kids and Jr...just gone.

And that comment... that comment pushed Rick over the edge. He lunged and tackled Mike.
How fucking dare he...

Mike shoved him off, slapping him in the face.
"Get off me! You had no room to talk so shut up!"

"That wwas fucking low Mike!" He growled, punching him in the jaw. "How do you have the fucking nerve to insult my parenting?"

"How do you have the gall to try and make what you did to that boy sound like nothing? And insult your parenting? I dont have to, its an insult to come in this house and not have either Zac make a smart remark or Jr run from somewhere and hug you and make some kind of happy babble conversation!! THATS AN INSULT BECAUSE YOU FUCKING LET ONE GET PREGNANT AT FOURTEEN AND ONE IS LOST!! HE IS PROBABLY DEAD!!! HE WAS A FUCKING TODDLER AND HE HAS BEEN GONE FOR THIRTEEN YEARS!" Mike punched him back, trying to throw him off.

Rick was shaking as he hit Mike again.
"Shut your fucking mouth..."

Mike hissed at him, back handing his son.
"No, you get off and stop trying to down play shit. Not only to you let fucked up things happen to your kids, you FUCKED UP YOUR BROTHERS KID."

Rick pulled back, hurt clear in his big blue eyes. He simply stood and walked out of the house.

Mike sighed, wiping his mouth and staring after him, curing loudly as he stomped up the stairs and into his room.
He had stopped sharing one with Alex after the divorce.

Rick was in tears by now as he wandered around aimlessly outside.

Mike took his time being pissed, trying to cool off. If Alex Jr had been there, he would have probably killed Rick, no one touched his mother like that and he did mean no one. It didn't matter if it would have been his father or Dustin or Sydney, you DO NOT hurt Mike Mizanin Riley infront of his child.

Mike had gotten Rick to the point where he was contemplating suicide...
He was such a piece of shit father..

Mike finally got up and went out the home too, looking for his son. He didn't know why he had said that but he knew he had been wrong. Saying something to a father like Rick who loves his children that much...
Its awful...
Mike finally came up on Rick, he paused and watched a moment before taking a step close and letting his arms wind around his baby.
"Rick...Sweetheart I am so fucking sorry. I didn't mean it...I-I just...I dont know what got me to say all that...I felt bad for Kelton and you were acting like it wasnt anything...Im so sorry baby. Your a damn good father..."

Rick turned to face him.
"Momma please don't touch me right now..."

Mike shook his head, kissing Rick's forehead.
"You know better after all this time to think im really going to let you go..."

"Momma I'm serious... that really fucking hurt. Itd hurt if anyone said it. But from you..." It made him want to kill himself.

"I know Rick honey, I know...I....I might have done it for Kevin, He wont blame you....but my baby needs his babies and you lost Jr and Zac left...and you know I loved them too, I needed someone to blame and it just fell on you...And im so fucking sorry about that baby..."

"I'm just... I just need some alone time momma..." He was going to fix it...

"Rick baby, I am not leaving you alone....I remember one time when you were left alone and you killed yourself and Kevin found you...twice...it wont happen again baby, im not going home to say 'by the way Kev, Rick killed himself' and then have to see his face."
