His Eyes Say Yes

Blaine was indeed already into labor, Mike wrist deep in his stomach while Kelton held the boys stomach open and Cade held the morphine bag.

Barry ran in with Gabriel right beside him. They each took one of Blaine's hands.

Blaine's eyes were screwed shut, tears falling quickly down his cheeks while Mike sloshed around his his stomach, finally getting a tiny head out, premature by one month.

"Oh baby.... shh, its okay." Barry whispered softly, caressing Blaine's cheek.

Blaine shook his head, squealing lightly as Mike bumped around in his stomach.

Barry pressed his lips to Blaine's temple, stroking his hair as he watched Mike work.

Mike took almost an hour working the child out but soon he had it out and in his arms, snapping a finger at Gabriel.
"Get a towel, hold the baby, wipe it off."

Gabriel nodded, doing as he was told and grabbing a towel and cleaning off the baby.

Mike stood chewing his lip.
"Who wants to cut the umbilical cord?"

Barry nodded.
"I will..." He stood, carefully cutting the cord. His brow furrowed. "Thought you said it was a girl...?"

"I thought it was." Mike peeked at the child, smiling softly. "But no, its a baby boy...congratulations Barry."

Barry smiled softly at the child. His baby...
He caressed the tiny cheek with his thumb.

Blaine was off in another world of morphine and and bears while Mike turned back to sew him up.

Barry cooed softly at the bawling child as Gabriel cleaned him off and wrapped him in a blanket, handing him over to Barry.

Angel watched closely, hopping over to look up at his grand baby.
"Aww...."

"Isn't he cute...?" Barry whispered, lowering the child down to Angel's level.

Angel grinned at him, hugging him around the waist and cooing at the tiny baby.
"Awww....Its adorable...It had your color hair..."

"Its... so precious..." He sighed softly, smiling down at Angel.

Angel grinned lightly, looking up at Barry.
"You and Blaine made a beautiful baby..."

"Yes we do..." Barry nodded as Gabriel stepped over.
"CAn I hold him?"
"Sure..."

Mike grinned at them, finished Blaine up and letting the boy rest while he pecked Gabriel's cheek.
"Well, your a grandfather, yay you."

"Ah shit, I feel old." Gabriel smiled. "But I'm happy.." He nodded, caressing the baby's bald head.

Angel nodded, smiling over at Blaine who was sleeping, his skin pink and wet with sweat.

Gabriel pressed a kiss to Blaine's cheek.
"Poor thing..." He hummed.

Mike nodded at him.
"If not for that phone, he would not have been able to call, so he could not get Barry up so he and the child could have died." Mike stuck his tongue out at Barry. "Lucky."
