SmutFest (Critter/Alex)

Sydney stared at her mother, nodding slowly.
"Momma. I'll try. But where's Alex? I just figured you might know." She didn't know where her brother had stormed off to. "And daddy?"

"Daddy was at my grave, I have no idea where your brother is." Mike sighed and wished he could hug his daughter."I love you baby."

"i love you too momma." Sydney cried. "I miss you so much."

"I know sweet heart, I miss all of you so much. But you will be okay and you wont be alone. But your daddy needs a grown up or something akin to it. I know your not a child but he needs Critter so please, be happy for him."

Sydney nodded.
"I just thought it would hurt you."

"I know and it does sting a little bit, but I love your daddy enough to let him go. I want his happiness more than anything and he was so alone, I couldn't stand it and so was Critter and now....they are making each other happy." Mike smiled. "As long as you, and your daddy, and your brother hard happy then Ill be happy." He sighed. "I need to go baby."

"I'll try to convince Alex... but he was worse than I was. I don't know where he went."

"Ill find him, you just take care of you daddy. Love you" And with that Mike was gone.

"Love you." She whispered, crying all over again.
She walked outside and down to the park beside the graveyard. She spotted Cameron on the swings and she walked over to her.

Cameron looked up and sneered. "Leave me alone....." She was about to call for her daddy.

"Cameron, I'm sorry." Sydney said softly. "I was just upset. I didn't mean to hurt you or say all of the mean things I did."

"You didn't hurt me you hurt my daddy and yours. My daddy wouldn't say anything because he was a good man and he has a thing a bout being rude to women but you was a cruel brat." She glared.

"I was." Sydney nodded. "I was very immature. I'm going to apologize to your daddy and mine. Each seperately. But they're both busy right now so I came to you first." She pointed at Critter and Alex who were knelt down in front of their former lover's graves.

Cameron nodded. "Promise?" She would forgive Sydney, she knew what it was like to miss her momma.

"I promise." She smiled and gave the small girl a hug.

Cameron was happy with that.

Critter got up and wiped the dirt off his pants. He decided he would let Alex be alone and he went over to the swings. His eyes narrowed as he saw Sydney, he loved her but she had better not been bothering his baby.

Sydney turned and saw Critter.
"I was just apologizing." She said. "Could I have a word with you Critter?"

"Yeah," He said gruffly as he told Cameron to go get in the truck. Cameron obeyed her father. "What is it Sydney?"

"I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am." She started softly. "Momma came and talked to me..."

Critter blinked. "Oh....well its fine Sydney. I think you hurt your daddy worse." He sighed. "I went home if he want to know okay?"

"Okay.. But one more thing Critter. Please take care of him." She said, looking up at him with pleading baby blue eyes.

"You think im going to hurt him or let him be hurt if I can help it?" Critter was already sure that he loved him he just hadn't said it.

"I don't know... I just know he's finally been acting normal. He really must like you. And I know how... emotionless he was when momma died... I don't want you to leave and have him get like that again... I think he may love you. I can just tell by the way he looked at you earlier. As if you were the only thing he could see at the moment. The way momma looks at him." She smiled.

Critters heart over flowed with joy but then he stopped. "D-Did he look at you momma like that?" He hoped Alex had loved Mike, because Mike loved him so much.

She nodded, still smiling.
"Every second of every day." She grinned.
