How You Remind Me

"Yeah well, im not surprised, you haven't missed Mikey either." He shot back. He had been pissed at how Alex just dropped Mike.

"I have missed Mike, for your information." Alex growled, stepping forward and to his full height so there chests would be touching if Daffy's wasn't transparent.
"look I don't care that you're a ghost or whatever. You ever dare tell me I don't miss him and I will kill myself just so I can come up there and beat the fuck out of you."

"Oh yeah, then you would be stuck up here with him and your precious lover would still be alive." Daffy snarled.

"You are so fucking lucky I can't hit you." Alex was shaking with anger now. He clenched and unclenched his fists. He needed to fucking hit something or he was gonna lose it.

"Not my fault you can't help but hurt Mike. Hell you even found a way to hurt him when he is dead and your not. He wont admit it though. You know Mikey, no matter how bad he is hurting he will try and be happy for you but we all can see he is not the least bit happy and its all your fault."

Alex was fuming. His breathing was heavy, his entire face was red, the veins in his neck were bulging out. He punched the tombstone, not caring that it could possibly break his hand.
"GET THE FUCK AWAY!" Alex growled, shaking his now bloody hand.

"Sure. Mike!!!!!!! He said he hates you and wants you to get away!!!!!" He laughed as Critter ran over to his lover and held his hurt hand in both of his, examining it.

Alex pulled his hand away from Critter.
"It's fine."
It wasn't. It felt broken. But he was not being weak in front of Daffy.
"But I cannot, and will not deal with him right now. Unless you want me to kill myself please ask him to knock it the fuck off." Alex breathed heavily, resting his forehead on Critter's shoulder.

Daffy shook his head. "You think your hurt? Think about how bad you hurt Mikey...." He sat on Sarah's stone and got quiet as Sarah ranted at him and punched him in his arm.

"Dustin, you think I don't know how bad I hurt him. I hate it. And I feel awful. I've tried to stop it. I've tried to stop loving Lane as much as I do. I've tried I really have. But I can't help it."

"Yeah.....Im sorry for that but hey, Im not Mike's lover anymore but I still love him. I still care enough to fucking fight for him. I give a damn how he is." Sarah sighed. Daffy was only defending Mike. He was usually nice and easy to get along with. "Dustin.....He didn't mean it."
"I don't care! He is fucking hurting our Mikey."

"Dustin, I doubt he likes us fighting. I know he didn't like it before. So... truce?" Alex raised a brow.

Dustin stared at him.... "Since when do you care about him." It hurt Dustin when Mike was hurt and Mike was hurt.
"Duddy Bug. He is trying...." Sarah sat beside him
"I know....And I want a truce but damnit....he is so hurt and you know what worse?"
"What?"
"Mike still loves him just as much as he did the day he died."

"Dustin, I'm tryin' here. It's killing me inside. You may not like me but you know I love Mike."

"Not as much as you love Critter. I never really had a big problem with you but damnit, this is sad."

"Dustin I can't help it." Alex sighed. "I really wish I could. I wish I wouldn't have to hurt Mike."

"Yeah.....me to." And with that Daffy got up and went on his way, towards Mike's grave.

Alex sighed. He had tried. He leaned into Critter although he knew it wasn't the right thing to do at the moment.

Sarah sighed. "Alex, you want to give me your wedding band from when you were with Mike?"

"Actually... I'd like to keep it if that's alright." He didn't want to get rid of his wedding band.

"Why?" See now, Sarah was not trying to be mean. She just wanted to know. "You let him go, why keep the ring?"

"Sarah I love him. I love Lane more but I don't want to forget what Mike and I had together."

She frowned. "Your complicated."
She didn't see why he would want the ring now that he had a new one.
"Where will you put that ring? You got a new one you need to wear now..."

"I might not wear the old one but I don't want to give it away." Alex slowly slid off his old ring. His finger looked strangely empty. That ring had never been taken off since the day they got married.

"That like saying you wont have Mike but you dont want to give him up......" She sighed, it was none of her business.
