I Came to Play

Jeff smiled as he finished putting Hailey's hair up for her. The two of them had spent the afternoon turning their home into Hailey's personal hospital. She'd gotten her own doctor's costume, set up the many rooms they need and chosen Mike's symptoms. Now they just had to wait for Mike to come home.

Mike was tired, Mike was extreamly tired. He had really broken his arm earlier, Fucking Daniel Bryan needed to learn to control the LaBell lock. Miike walked through the door. "Hey, Jeff! Baby Im home!" Mike yelled as he dropped his stuff my the dooor.

Jeff smiled as Hailey ran off to hide. He strolled up to the door and pulled Mike to him. "Hey baby," Jeff drawled. "How ya feelin?"

"Tired and pissed." Mike kissed Jeff's cheek. "Happy to see you."

"Well, ummmm I hope you're not to tired," Jeff said softly. "Our little princess wanted to spend a little time with you."

Mike sighed, he was so tired and his arm hurt so bad. Mike nodded and rested his head on Jeff's shoulder. He would do it for Hailey.

Jeff smiled. "Haileybug!!!!" Jeff called, chuckling when the child latched herself to Mike's legs. "Daddy!!!!!!!!!" Hailey squealed.

"Hey baby." Mike smiled, picking his baby up with his good arm. "Word at that front door says you wanna do something with me."

Hailey looked at her costume and then at Mike, nodding quickly. "uh huh uh huh uh huh!" Hailey grinned.

"Okay then Hailey." Mike faked a cough, noticing her costume.

"Wait a minute daddy, me and daddy Jeffy gotta tell you the story!" Hailey said.

"Story?" Mike inquired, looking back and forth between Jeff and Hailey.

"She has a plan on how all this is gonna work," Jeff explained. Hailey nodded. "Daddy Jeffy's gonna be your daddy, you're as widdle as I am and you's sick," Hailey began. "You don't wants to go to the doctor though, you's scared, but daddy Jeffy makes ya and you comes sees me."

Jeff nodded. "Different places in the house are different places either at home or the doctor's office. " Jeff continued. "Our room is your bedroom, the couch is the car, the kitchen is the waiting room, and the guest bedroom is the doctor's office," Jeff said.

Hailey nodded happily. "Me and daddy Jeffy already picked what's wrong with you too," Hailey said, handing the colored index cards to Jeff.

Jeff nodded, reading from them. "The fever is a given, but other than that you have.......a sore throat......a cough......and a stomachache," Jeff said.

Mike nodded, an amused smile playing on his lips. Mike sat Hailey down and jumped into Jeff's arms. "Daddy I don't fweel so gwood."

Hailey grinned running off to her "office"

"Awwww," Jeff said. "What's the matter baby?"

"M-my tommy h-hurts and m-my thwoat hurts." Mike sniffled, wanting to laugh so bad.

"Awww my poor baby," Jeff said, kissing Mike's forehead. "You're burning up," Jeff gasped. "C'mon," he stood up with Mike still in his arms. "Daddy's gonna go find the thermometer."

Mike groaned, whining and sqirming in Jeff's arms. "D-daddy.....hurtsssss."

"I know baby I know," Jeff shushed Mike gently. "Just stay still darlin." He picked up one of the strategically placed toy thermometers he and Hailey had pre set to read for Mike's "fever" "Open up honey," Jeff said softly.

Mike opened his mouth with an "Ahhhhh" Staring at Jeff lovingly.

Jeff placed the toy thermometer into Mike's mouth, running a gentle hand over Mike's hair, just like he did Hailey. "That's a good boy," Jeff smiled.

Mike whimpered, hands clutching the front of Jeff's shirt.

"Shhh Shhh Shh," Jeff whispered softly. "Let's see how's you're doin' now darlin," Jeff said, gently pulling the toy from Mike's mouth.

Mike hated to say it but he felt loved and protected in Jeff's arms.

Jeff sighed and shook his head. "That doesn't look too good baby," Jeff said. "We should probably get you to the doctor. He hid a grin when he spotted Hailey peeking out to watch her father's coming temper tantrum......
