I Came to Play

"No!" Mie wailed, getting up and running from Jeff, finally hidding under the bed.

Jeff sighed and chased after him. "C'mon Mikey, you wanna get better, don't ya?"

"Y-yeah b-but I dont wanna g-go!" Mike whimpered. "Cant you j-just fix me d-daddy."

"No darlin' I can't," Jeff drawled sadly. "C'mon out from under there for me baby."

"B-But your daddy y-your suposed to amke e-everythine better!" Mike wailed, covering up his face.

"I'm tryin' to darlin' but I need a doctor to help me," Jeff reasoned.

Mike whimpered, bringing tears to his eyes. If they wanted a game, well they got one. "D-Daddy! Hurts!"

"Come on out from under there and Daddy can help you," Jeff said. "Daddy can't do anything with you don't there."

Mike slowly made his way out from under the bed, latching onto Jeff's leggs, tears pouring form his eyes. "N-no, n-no doctor!"

"Mikey......" Jeff sighed, rubbing circles on Mike's back. "If you wanna get better you gotta go honey."

Mike coughed on a sob, finally nodding and crawling into Jeff's arms. "Mikey trusts daddy."

Jeff smiled. "That's it," Jeff said softly. "Just rest here baby, daddy's got you," Jeff soothed, rocking Mike gently as he had done for many a night when they first got together.

A few real tears leaked from Mikeys eyes as he remebered how Jeff used to hold him, they didn't do that mcuh anymore and this made Mike realize how much he missed it. Mike sniffled. "I still don't want to go." Mike mumbled.

"I know you don't baby," Jeff said, slowly standing up. "Daddy just wants you to get better, that's all."

Mike snuggled Jeff, enjoying the warmth after a long day. Mike waited for them to be in the 'car' or wherever Jeff was taking him.

Jeff carefully carried Mike toward the living room couch, keeping Mike's bad arm out of the way so it wouldn't bump into anything.

Mike was still so tired, he was dosing off in Jeff's arms. He always flt safe in Jeff's arms, it was bad how Jeff made him feel so loved.

Jeff lied Mike down gently in the "car" "You comfortable baby?" Jeff asked, sitting down on the floor in front of him.

"Sure, the floors not that hard." Mike leaned back, his arm throbbing. "Just take me and get it over with please, daddy." Mike pleaded, seriously read to be able to just go to bed.

Jeff nodded. He knew Mike needed his rest so he didn't stay there long before he picked Mike up again, carrying him toward the "waiting room."

Mike groaned, the pain in his arm was reall buggin him now. Mike decided he would at least try and finish the game for Jeff and Hailey. He just hoped the would hurry up.

Since they were far enough from Hailey's room now, Jeff decided he would momentarily break character. "You want me to get you something for that baby?" Jeff asked.

"Nah, just wait until were done with Hailey, then you can.......If I can stand it for that long." Mike gave Jeff a small smile, with every throb of his arm he wanted to just curl up and try and sleep it off.

Jeff nodded. "Well then let's get you up to see the doctor then hm?" Jeff asked.

"Yeah," Mike nodded, finding a smile for his lover.
