He Will Be Loved

"Otay gwammy." He nodded happily. "I wike my middle name." He smiled.
"They all love you." Zac chuckled.

Mike nodded and peck Kevin's cheek.
"Coarse they do, he is just so lovable....Well everyone but Colbie."
Colbie Michelle McDaniels, she was a daddy's girl all the way but she was not too fond of her grandmother. Her middle name was her great grandmothers name but in girl form. She adored her great grand mother.

Zac nodded.
"Yupp, but Colbie's such a daddy's girl." He smirked. "And she adores memaw." He nodded

Quincy grinned.
Colbie was easily annoyed, and usually scared her siblings when upset.

Vikki was momma's girl. She loved her grandmother too. And memaw. She clung to all the "girls" in the family. She was always begging Zac to take her out and pick flowers for Quincy. But Zac loved her to death.
Then there was Hayden. Hayden Parker McDaniels. He was attached to his father at the hip. He was a quiet boy but he seemed to admire every single thing his father did.

Quincy looked up as Riley entered the room, Riley Cameron McDaniel's, named for his grandfather and his great grandfather. The child was loud, out spoken and he loved all the "guys" in the family, clinging to his grandfather and great-grand father all the time. Riley toddled over to Alex and reached his arms up, demanding attention.

Alex grinned at him.
"There's my boy." He hoisted Riley up on his lap, kissing his forehead. "How've ya been sweety?"

"Dood, I was pwaying wift Colbie an the got aww mad tho I tame in here." Riley had a lisp, even now it was clear he had one.

Alex loved the child's lisp. He found it adorable.
"Well, why'd Colbie get mad at ya, hun?"

"Becathe we were pwayin bwall and ah bounced it twithe and tho the got mad and thaid I wath cheating." Riley rolled his eyes,

Alex chuckled, ruffling the child's hair.
"Well I'm sure she'll get over it bud."

"No, the ith alwayth mwad abwout tomtin." He pouted looking at the door as Colbie toddled in, picked up her bear, reached for Quincy who scooped her up, kissed his cheek, and then got down and toddled out; pushing past the small, quiet boy in the door way, clutching his purple blanket and looking at his mother from behind his black hair, his small hand in a fist and pressed to his mouth.

Zac smiled softly at the child in the doorway.
"Colbie is mad a lot." He chuckled at his son.

The quiet child slowly made his way in and stood next to Zac, wanting to be held but not asking for it.

Zac smiled at him, lifting him up and kissing his cheek.
"Hi baby." He was always quiet like this.

The child smile softly.
"Hi mwomma..." He attached himself to Zac and cuddled his chest.
Gabriel Evan McDaniel's.

"Whassup Gabe?" He kissed the child's head, holding him close. He loved all his babies to death but that name... the name Gabriel still sent chills down his spine. He ignored it a lot because Quincy loved the name though.

"Nothing..." He answered quietly, cuddling Zac while Riley looked at him.
"Alwayth tho twiet."
Riley and Colbie were the only ones who resembled Quincy.

Zac smiled softly at his baby.
"Yes he is but sometimes it's nice. Peaceful one." He stroked Gabriel's hair.

Quincy chuckled, ruffling Gabriel's hair.
"God, you know I don't think they are mine. They don't look like me and they ALL have Zac hair." He grinned with a chuckle.

"I know, they're emo at two." Zac giggled, playing with Gabriel's hair. "But they're definitely yours."

"I dunno, they kinda look like Quinton a little bit." He snickered as Riley stuck his tongue out.

"Oh no." Zac gasped mockingly. "Wait, it was you that night right?" He giggled. "What if I got confused?"

"Better not have, ill be forced to kick his..." He looked at his babies. "Butt..."

Zac chuckled.
"Nice save daddy." He kissed Quincy's cheek. "Don't worry. They're all yours."
