Angel sighed, burying his face in his fiance's chest. The only contact he has made was sending his son birthday and Christmas presents...having Dustin tell him he loved him when he could..
The door creaked open, Misery poking his head in the door, he was dressed in one of Gabriels large shirts, and some simple black boxers. The pet hopped on the end of the bed and curled up at Gabriel's feet.
"Kick me old man, and ill murder you in your sleep. Your money is on the counter in the living room."

"Alright, thanks kid." He nodded.

Angel smiled softly, looking down at his friend who was curled at the end of the bed.
"Gabe...I think you made a new friend..." He giggled softly.,

"Oh joy." He said sarcastically but ruffled Misery's hair nonetheless.

Angel sighed softly, shaking his head and looking down as Misery humped and scooted away from Gabriel, curling tighter.
He had thought he had made a new friend...It was hard for him to have friends..He only ever knew Rhett, Angel and Trever...now he had Kyndal....but...
The boy sighed and shook his head.
No one really cared...He had no family, no friends to speak of but Angel....
It just hurt sometimes...

"Hey I was just kidding." He sighed.

Angel kissed his cheek, moving to whisper in his ear.
"Its fine, he just gets a bit upset sometimes. He....Likes you, and he doesnt like many people...he has no family, and im his only friend...he has issues, he will get over it dont feel bad."

Gabriel nodded.
"I get it.." He looked down at the boy.

Angel laid back down on his chest, humming lightly.
Misery stayed curled away from Gabriel, not feeling welcome in the bed now but he was stubborn.

Gabriel shook his head at the boy as he stroked Angel's hair, trying to go to sleep.

Angel had already fallen asleep.
By twelve that night Misery had rolled from the bed and padded back into the living room, trying to find something to snack on.

"You're always hungry aint ya?" Gabriel smirked as he saw him. He'd gotten up to go to the bathroom.

"Yeah, Rhett left me alone for just two hours one time, Trever came over and cut out my bowels so no im like, always starving. Even when I eat it feels empty so." He shrugged, not making eye contact with Gabriel.

"oh... well... I didn't upset ya earlier did I?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Like you could ever upset me." He shook his head but Gabriel had...
He had thought they were friends...
You had to remember he was still just a kid.

"Alright... you are my friend kid alright?" He reassured. He was way too fucking nice today.

misery blinked at him, rolling his eyes.
"Damn, well im screwed then huh..."
He didn't want to be pitied...he didnt want Gabriel to be his friend because Angel had a big mouth...

"Yeah..." He nodded with a sigh.

Misery shook his head, taking a bite of the ice cream he was eating on.
"Gabriel...Don't you come in here and be nice just because Angel has a big mouth and you feel bad, I don't want that so if its pity then just go back to bed and leave me be." He nodded at the money on the counter.
"Thats around 150,000"

"It isn't pity kid. I was just kidding earlier. I joke around with my friends. See? It was a good thing." Gabriel nodded at the money. "Thanks."

Misery found a grin for him, an air of confidence now surrounding him.
"Well...great." He nodded to himself, his eyes meeting Gabriel's for the first time.

Gabriel smirked back at him, patting his shoulder.
"Comin back to bed?"

"In a minute, imma finish up this ice cream..want some?" He grinned at his new friend.

"Sure kid." He nodded at Misery

Misery got up, plodding back into the kitchen for a while before coming back and handing Gabriel a bowel, holding in it a banana in half, covered in vanilla icecream, topped with chocolate and strawberry syrup and whipped cream, a cherry on top.
