Misery sat with him, eating chocolate ice cream straight from the carton.
He hated the feeling of emptiness....

"So kid..." He thought trying to make conversation. "Ever had a boyfriend?"

"Nah." He shook his head. " I have never been around anyone but Trever and Rhett has a weird thing about Trever being around his pet which is me."

"Oh... never had a crush on anywone who bought you? Most of those men are disgusting pigs but some arent half bad." He shrugged.

"Eh some are cute but I have my standards. I want someone who can take care of me, which I can fend for myself but you know." He shrugged. "Most of these men, hell no, My man will not be spending money on a fuck for one night, my man had better worry about me or they will wind up lonely. Ill tell you now, I don't mind cheating if your not taking care of me how I think you should. Im not Angel, you already see to work with me you got to respect me."

"You sure are different from most of the... excuse my language, bitches I've known."

"Thats because Gabriel, your not getting it, im not a bitch, I wont be a bitch, im a pet." He nodded as if that made him awesome.

"Its same thing sort of. You're just... closer to your owner. He treats you better than most."

"Rhett treats me like a fucking pet Gabriel. But yes, you are right, its about the same thing but out of all the pets you have had...How many TELL YOU your not going to treat them like shit? You wanted to treat me like that, did it fly? No. Rhett couldnt make it work like that either so I am treated better because I make you treat me better."

Gabriel chuckled at him.
"You got a point." He nodded.

"I do." He nodded, moving to lay in Gabriel's lap.
"Even fucking Trever gets so tired of me some times he leaves the house. I kick ass."

Gabriel laughed at him.
"You really do, kid."

Misery nodded to himself, nuzzling his friends legs.
"Now if only I can get someone who can deal with me."

"Sure ya will. If Angel can deal with my dumb ass anything is possible." He chuckled.

"Angel is different though, he is unbalanced, in the head and physically, Trever like...injected him with shit and for a long time he was like...just so happy, like he was high. I think it stuck with him, he is out of his mind."

Gabriel sighed.
"Yeah he is. But I love him."

"Yeah..I love him to death." Misery had saved him from Trever a few times.

"So... he like... your only friend? Besides Rhett and Kyndal?" he asked.

"Yeah...Just Angel and he is THE only friend, Kyndal and Rhett are my masters...Angel is my equal..." He sighed softly.

He nodded.
"Right... well ya can be my friend too.."

Misery smiled softly up at him, nodding slowly.
"I would like that a lot Gabriel..."

"I could use another friend." He nodded with a smirk.

"Yeah since you seem to be losing that one you got now." Misery hummed lightly.

He sighed.
"Yeah..." He hated it.
