Better Sorry Than Safe

Chord called Kelton over, who stopped and picked up not food, they didnt eat when they were upset. Usually these boys played video games, shoulder to shoulder with the upset friend and tried to calm him and get his mind off of things but each had a special thing. For Aristotle, they bought him stuffed animals. He was slow, he was like a child, he enjoyed them...
Kelton stopped off and get a large fluffy teddy bear for his friend, also picking up a name tag. On the way there he thought up the name Snugly Muffin Pie which of course his friend would enjoy later when he wasnt so upset. He had started this back when Aristotle was a toddler. They had been friends for so long...He had to go to the hospital because he was allergic to peanuts and he ate some so he and Chord agreed whenever he was upset they would get his Teddy's. Kelton himself got tons of popcorn so they could watch movies and dish about what not and Chord....well Chord got hugs.

When Joslin arrived, Kyndal and Zac were already sitting on the edge of the bed. The green blanket had a lump in it which he knew was Asher judging by the small sniffles and sobs.
"Baby I'm here... and I got some news."
"Is it good?" The lump spoke.
"No...."
A sob.

Kelton stepped into the room to see Chord on his stomach, controller in hand playing some gruesome looking game with Aristotle laying on Chord's back, a big white bear Chord had went and God hi clutched in one arm and a piece of ice in the other.
A weird thing with Aristotle, when he was upset he ate ALOT of ice.
Kelton smile and waved, sitting the large black bear down and sitting on the edge on the bed, stroking Aristotle's back while he cried.
Chord hummed lightly.
"Shhh He dont wanna talk right now, wanna play? Its two player."
"Nah..." He shook his head, plopped down beside his friends and watching Chord play his game, his ears focused on Aristotle's little sobs.

Joslin explained to Asher about Aristotle's promise to himself. He then crawled under the blanket with him. He was hit several times but soon he had Asher in his arms. He pulled the blanket off of them and nodded at Kyndal.
"Its in the fridge."
Kyndal nodded and jogged off, returning with a mini pint of ice cream and a spoon.

After a few hours Chord had picked up his phone and called His lover, watching Hunter who had just walked in argue with his brother about what a wuss he was being about all of this.
He was upsetting Aristotle...

"Baby?" Joslin answered, having to hand over the ice cream to Zac to take over the feeding while he held the phone.

"Whats going on over there?"
In the back ground it was hard to hear him with Hunter yelling at Aristotle in the back ground/.

"Um..." He held the phone out. You could hear Asher sobbing and Zac and Kyndal cooing to him. "That." He put the phone back to his ear. "Who's yelling over there?"

"Hunter...."
He sighed and held the phone up, immediately Aristotle's sad heart raking sobs could be heard along with Hunter.
"What in the hell is your problem? Are you seriously crying over a kiss?" Hunter raged. "I should give you something to cry about you stupid fucking idiot!"
And Aristotle wailed loudly. "I-Im not St-Stupid!!" He cried at his brother in his slow way.
"Oh right, your RETARDED!!"
The phone was snapped shut.

Joslin frowned.
"What an asshole..." Aristotle was so sweet...

A few hours passed in which Chord beat Hunter up and threw him out, they ate taco's which got caught in Aristotle's braces, and bedded down together, curling up and getting ready for bed.

By this time Asher's lips were blue, he'd thrown up twice, his eyes were red and puffy but he'd stopped crying. Zac, Kyndal and joslin laid beside each other, with Asher laying atop them, all sprawled out.

Chord sent him a text before bed.
!<3!Beautiful, I love you so much and ill miss you tonight, guess ill just have to cuddle Aristotle on your place. Im not sure what to do with him about this, he refuses to call Asher...but he wants to. Anyways, I love you again.

Chord smiled at the message, burrowing under the covers and letting himself fall into a deep sleep.

Joslin put down his phone and kissed Asher's cheek.
They stayed up late into the night, triyng to make Asher think about anything but Aristotle...

Aristotle had just woken up late into the right and was sitting by the phones, once again trying softly and just listening to his friends sleep.

By now all of them had fallen asleep except Asher who was sitting up with his knees held to his chest, crying once again.

Aristotle was so tempted to pick up the phone but he couldnt...He promised himself...He would answer if anyone called but he sure as hell was not picked up a phone to make a call. He just held himself and looked at his fallen text books.

Asher chewed his lip and picked up the phone. It took him a few minutes but he dialed Aristotle's number/

On the third ring Aristotle's voice came through. There was a hiccup, a sniffle and then the slow drawn out, raspy voice many though sounded horrible.
"Hello....?"

Asher let out a small whimper before hanging up. He'd just wanted to hear that voice. He prayed they didn't have caller ID...

He didnt need it, he had that number memorized and he knew that voice.
It took him almost half an hour but he figured out how to get to redial.
He called Asher back.

Asher chewed his lip as he answered.
"Um... hello?" His voice cracked and wavered. If you thought he sounded girly normally... he sounded like a total chick right now.

"Asher....?" That same raspy voice came through, drawn out, sounding labored. "Did you....call me...?" It had been weeks since they had last spoken...
