"Welll the main reason is cause he broke Lane's heart. But the other reason....well lets put it this way Dewayne. How would you feel if David was in love with your momma? Every time you made love he came and screamed Mike, not Dewayne? if the first time you told him you loved him he responded with 'love you too, Mike'? If every single time he addressed you he didn't call you Dewayne, he called you Mike? It'd get pretty damn annoying wouldn't it?"

"Bubba....I think the man knows who you are though... I saw him the other day...Know what he said?"

"I know he knows who I am. He got a tattoo of my name. He's explained that he loves Devin, not Alex but his brain refuses to call me that. I get it but it doesn't change the fact that it hurts Dewayne." He sighed. "Now what did he say?"

"If his brain dont work....How come he told me to tell Devin he misses and loves him and for DEVIN to bring back some gummy worms for him? He knows....He might fuck up but Devin...That man knows who you are...He isnt worried about Alex...I even asked him if he wanted me to tell Alex anything, He shrugged and said tell him he hopes he and Mike are going good.:

Devin sighed softly.
"I don't know Dewayne..."

"I just...he loves you...not Alex." Lane would not allow Alex to keep hurting him.

"I know that. I just don't like being called my mother's name 24/7..." He frowned.

"I know bubba...But hey, I think even if he could he wouldn't want Alex back..."
Lane was hopelessly in love with Devin..

"You think so...?" He hummed.

"Yeah I honestly do....He would have him if he wants...He wants you Devin." Dewayne nodded to himself.

"I really hope thats true..." He nodded.

Dewayne nodded with a small smile.
"I know it is...."
He looked at the door and sighed. "Lets go see daddy."

"Alright bubba." He nodded, taking his hand and walking out

Dewayne sat on the couch with his brother, his eyes hard on David at he sat down and glanced at his mother.
"Mom..."
His poor mom...

Chris had tears brimming his eyes. He was trying so hard not to let them fall as he clutched onto Dustins' hand.

Dewayne moved to hold his mother from behind, much like Dustin would have done to calm him.

Chris wailed into his son's chest, hugging him tight.

Dewayne dropped a kiss into his mothers hair, hugging him tightly.
"Shhhh momma...momma...."

"D-Dewayne... he's not going to come back." He sniffled.

"I know momma...."
He shook his head, jumping as His fathers hand moved one of his so he could hold his lovers.
"Chris dont cry darlin..."

Chris jumped as well, immediately trying to stop his tears. Dustin was the one who needed comforted not him...

Dustin smiled softly, cooing at his lover,
"Aww Chrissy, its alright...Dont cry because you'll gain more baby weight your still trying to lose." He joked lightly, anything to make the tears stop.

Chris gave him a teary eyed smile, his lower lip still trembling.

Dustin tugged his down into his arms, hugging Chris tightly, being extra careful of his stomach.
"Babe....Im alright, I was just tired and Dewayne makes a nice pillow."

"Okay honey..." He wasn't stupid. Dustin had been unconscious... but he didnt want to argue.
