I Shouldn't...

Calvin by now was on his way home with Steven in his arms. The surgery had gone well and steven was good to go.

Gabriel was laying in bed, the door unlocked and his pill bottle empty spilled over on the night stand. The boy was dead still.
But yet, Gabriel was not that desperate, suicide was a cowards way out and he was no coward.

Calvin didn't go in the room that night... he and Steven slept on the couch.

Kevin who watched them all sighed softly.
This was pathetic.
He stood up, getting Gabriel out of that room, an managing to carry Calvin and the baby in the room to sleep in the bed.

Calvin didn't stir, holding Steven tight to his chest, being careful of his scars.

A few days went by,m almost a week had passed. Gabriel had yet to speak to Calvin.
Angel was missed but he was safe.

And Calvin wasn't trying to change that. He missed the boy so much but... he wouldn't be a pushover... Gabriel had cheated...

Riley was getting fucking sick of it. His brother had sank into what seemed like a depression...Like after he had gotten sick. And Riley was a good brother.
He was also a pissed brother. He stepped into Calvin's room, frowning deeply.
"Tho. Thith ith it huh? Thith ith all that who relationthip ith worth? I get he cheated and he ith thuffering for it....Calvin, if your divorcing him, divorthe him and get the hell out. If not, go tell him that. I realize your not a puth over but come on, he is clearly thorry...You have a right to be mad, Im giving him the cold thoulder too for what he did but Calvin..." Riley leaned against the room.

"Fine Riley. I'm going." He sighed. "I'll go right now and get the divorce papers."

Riley blinked at him, his frown deep.
"Alright...."
He was now a bit upset.....

Calvin swallowed as he stood, packing his things. Steven was still sleeping on the couch.

Riley stepped over to run his fingers through Steven's hair.
"Your seriously leaving him...." He hated it for the small boy..he knew Steven loved his momma."

"I have to." Calvin sighed as he packed up his son's things as wel.

"Why? Why do you have to Calvin? Can you not thee he regreth it? I mean, thure it was bad but....I really think he only did it for the money...And he gave the money to Theven thill..."

"I just have to Riley..." He sighed softly, shaking his head.

"No you dont. Calvin no you do not. That baby needth a momma. You love him and he ith thorry...." Riley sighed softly. "At leath let him thay goodbye to the kid."

"Steven can spend a week with me then a week with Gabe. He loves Gabriel.." He sighed softly.

"Okay." Riley nodded, opening his arms for a hug. "We will misth you Calvin."

Calvin hugged the boy he'd come to love as his own brother close.
"I'll miss you too Riley.."

"You gotta thill come thee me thometime, we will hang out. I cant be misthing a brother." He nodded.

"Alright. I'd have to. I love ya." He smiled softly and cradled Steven to his chest.

Riley whined softly, pulling Calvin back for a hug along with the child.
"Don't leave uth....I will misth you too much. Who ith going to help me when im having Lanth probelmth or when im fighting with daddy."

"I'm gonna miss all of you a lot..." Calvin sighed softly. They'd become his family too...

He whined louder, pressing Calvin closer.
"Damn you...Leaving me...And taking my little guy with you."

"Like I said... Steven can go back and forth. So you'll see him." He hummed.
