Cowgirls Don't Cry.

"Stop being all bitchy." He groaned.

"Stop making me be a bitch." He retorted in a huff, trying to go to bed.

Rick rolled his eyes and did the same, going to sleep.

Kelton was with his mother, waiting with him just in case he went into labor, without his father he was back to being momma's boy in a way.

And it made Chris very happy... his baby had never wanted anything to do with him before.
Chris was with Kelton in the living room when he got his first contractions. This was his third birth, he was used to it and not surprised. He did give a tiny yelp before looking at Kelton.
"Baby I need you to call David for me. I think I'm going into labor."

Kelton's eyes grew wide, he nodded and scrambled off, fumbling with the phone as he tried to call his step brother.

Chris started on the breathing exercises David always had him do, sliding off his shirt and lying down on the bed they'd set up about a week ago for when Chris gave birth.
David answered.
"Hello?" He had a feeling so he was already packing up his equipment as he spoke.

'MOMMA IS GOING INTO LABOR HELP US!!!!" Kelton hollered into the phone, bouncing from foot to foot.
He acted like Dustin would.

Chris chuckled when he heard his son as did David.
"I'll be right there." David hung up and was out the door seconds later, Dewayne with him.
He got to the house and immediately went to work, making sure Chris was relaxed. This would be the first birth where Dustin wasn't holding his hand...

But Dewayne had one and Kelton had the other, but Dustin's children, both favored their daddy in some way.
"Its alright momma we got you!" Kelton looked panicked, like he was the one giving birth.
Yes, he was Dustin's child.

Chris smiled up at them.
"I love you both." He shook his head as Lance and Devin came bursting in the room. David had called them.
"No hand for me!" Devin whined.
"Well one of ya needs to hold the skin open for me." David noted

Dewayne shook his head.
"Devin, have mine, ill do the skin." He shook his head and stood beside his husband. Kelton was shaking so hard he had Chris's whole arm jarring.

David pecked Dewayne's cheek as Devin jogged around to take Chris's hand.
"Kelton you're gonna make him fall off the table." Devin chuckled at his brother. "Calm down."

"I cant!!! Lance come hold his hand!" He let go and stood to the side, simply bouncing around nervously.

Lance chuckled and took his mother's hand.
"Kelton I need you to hold this as high as you can alright? It'll make sure your momma don't feel a lot of pain." David handed Kelton the morphine bag. "Try and keep still with it."

Dewayne stared at him.
"Are you kidding me? Dont give him that!" He took the bag and stood on a chair, holding the bag.

"Damnit. How bout this. Dewayne you hold the skin open for me.. Devin hold the bag since he's the biggest. Lance hold Chris's hand andKelton just stand there." David chuckled, exasperated. Devin chuckled and nodded, taking the bag from Dewayne and standing on the chair with it.
"Someone just get the baby outof me." Chris whined.
David nodded, making a cut down his inflated stomach.

Dewayne took the skin. shaking his head.
"Just thing, if daddy was here it would be even more hectic." He snickered at his mother with Kelton continued to fly around the house looking for water and a towel for no reason.

"I know." David chuckled at Kelton as he began searching for the baby. Chris groaned, clutching onto Lance's hand so tight it was turning red.
"Oh hell, daddy was better at this." Lance whined. "You are stronger than I thought." He grumbled at his mother as David found the head of the baby.

Dewayne chuckled lightly at his brother, shaking his head.
"Daddy wouldnt even feel it. he would be out of his mind. He is ridiculous...well he was." Dewayne made sure to give David room to pull the baby."

"Look at this. He's gonna make my hand fall off!" Lance laughed, stroking Chris's sweat drenched hair.
David slowly eased the head of the child out of chris's stomach.

Dewayne cooed softly to his mother while keeping the skin far apart for David.
"Awwwww Look at it!!"

Chris managed a smile down at the baby.
"Oh..." He cooed softly as David got the rest of the body out, grabbing the scissors and asking Lance if he wanted to cut the umbilical cord. Lance nodded, with his free hand cutting off the cord. David smiled, handing the bawling child to Dewayne. "Can you clean it off for me babe?"

"Course!" He beamed, wrapping the child up in a towel Kelton had given im.
"Mom its so beautiful!" He cooed, wiping the blood from the tiny baby.

"Oh it is." Chris beamed at the baby as David began stitching Chris up.
