Angel gently caressed his cheek, cooing softly.
"And im sorry your life with us has been so bad baby...I truly am..."

"Momma my life is fine." He nodded, frowning lightly. "I'm good momma. You're a great parent.."

"Shh...Cade...Dont lie alright...just shh...and know im so sorry..." His baby had been killed so many times...
And he had been unable to stop it.

"Momma, I'm really fine. Its okay." He nodded, kissing his cheek.

Angel shook his head.
"No...Your daddy hurt you...im so sorry I couldnt do anything to stop him."
He hugged Cade close.

"You tried momma. You tried to help me and thats all that matters okay." He nodded.

Angel gave a small nod, caressing his son's cheek.
"I remember when I was pregnant with you...your daddy was something else...all he did every day was coddle me so you would be alright....He was all sweet....He loved touching my stomach...I think he wanted to cry when he first held you.."

Cade smiled sweetly.
"Aww... bet you loved that, huh?"

"I enjoyed not having to worry about him hurting me but more so...I love how much he loved you...I dont think anyone can love you as much as I love you but that man...he adored his baby boy..." Angel nodded. "I remember....I cried the first time I saw you and I was all there...your memaw delivered you, I died so I didnt see you so much...one time before I died...then when I woke up your daddy was hugging you and he was crying..."

He smiled again, bigger now.
That made him feel loveed.

"Your father was really particular about you...He made sure EVERYTHING was perfect..." Angel had gotten into so much trouble in those first days bringing Cade home. "He made you a nursery....He rocked you to sleep a lot...I did when I was aloud to...I put in to have you sleep with us ing the big bed until you were like....as your father said, a big boy."

"See? You were a good momma." He nodded. "And he was a good daddy too."

"No...Baby that does not make me a good momma to you...We were still so bad..." Angel pressed a kiss to Cade's temple.

"Momma, you're amazing. Stop saying that." He cooed lightly

"Cade...." Angel just shook his head and held the boy closer.
They had done so much better with Blaine...
And he was still fucked up too...

"Momma.." Cade mocked lightly, smiling at Angel.

The tiny boy just blinked at him, "What?" He did not get the concept of mocking.

"I was just mocking what you did momma." He explained lightly.

"Mocking?" Angel frowned lightly, resting his chin on Cade's shoulder.

"Like.. I was doing the same thing you did..." He nodded.

"Kay." Angel nodded, he reached over and took a cookie, biting into the still hot desert. It didnt bother him, Trever had fucked him up so he could taste but his mouth was no longer sensitive.

Cade raised an eyebrow at him.
"Not hot?"

"Not to me but you still cant eat one, they will burn my baby." Angel stroked Cade's cheek.

"Awww." Cade whined, pouting cutely at his momma.

Angel smiled widely at him, simply watching his child.
He adored his baby boy...
