Rain

Let the rain fall down,
Fall all around.

I let it wash away my sins,
Every now and then.

It falls from above me,
Makes me wonder if anyone loves me.

It swallows me whole
purifying my soul.

It spits me out
when there's rain all about.

Its cold and muggish,
We stand alone,
And let it judge us.

The sky clears,
A bird cheers.

Im wet and alone,
But your dead and gone.

So you bring the rain,
which can't be tamed.

You bring the rain down
suffocating me until I drown.

As I watch you rot,
I here you whisper, "Forget me not."
