Vanillia Twilight

Mike had finally got up the nerve to call his old lover, Daffy and when he was ready to leave the hospital that is where he was staying but now Daffy was going to get his things for his and Jeff's house.

Jeff sat on the couch with Hailey in his lap. It killed him to be without Mike, but he loved Hailey too much to see her go.

Daffy knocked on the door, looking back at his car in which Mike was sitting in the passenger seat, playing with his and Jeff's rings.

Jeff opened the door. It was obvious he'd been crying. "What?" Jeff snapped.

"I need all of Mike's belongings." Daffy answered. He felt bad for Jeff but Mike needed his things and Daffy would do almost anything for Mike.

Jeff nodded. "There's a box in the bedroom," Jeff sniffled.

Daffy blinked, he couldn't believe that was all Mike owned. "Is that it?"

Jeff nodded. "That's all of it," Jeff said, wiping his eyes.

Daffy flinched as the car horn honked and Mike waved out the window and yell at him that he had a phone call. "Shut up Michael! The kid might be asleep! Just leave it!" Daffy yelled back and muttered, "What a retard." Under his breath.

Jeff looked out the window and he wanted to burst into tears again. How could a relationship go this wrong this fast?

Daffy got Mike's things but before he left he put them down and pulled a ring out of his pocket. "I almost forgot, this is Mike's." Daffy presented Jeff with the ring. "He wouldn't let yours go, said he wanted something of your he could keep with him at all times, close to his heart." Daffy shrugged. "He is a big sap."

Jeff nodded. "If he ever....remembers......tell him I'm still waiting for him...." Jeff said.

Daffy hummed. "The doctor said he may never remember, and it seems he turned back into the Mike I knew, the one that liked kids, just didnt want one...the boy who was always trying to make daddy proud." Daffy laughed, "This is my Mike."

Jeff hung his head and solemnly nodded.

Daffy got serious. "He is my Mike now, im goning to go ahead and tell you now Jeff, I plan on taking him back."

Jeff nodded. "Do what you want, my angel is gone......"

"Sorry, but I cant help be happy." Daffy nodded out at his truck. "Im getting mine back."

Jeff nodded, biting his lip to stop it from trembling.

"Well...I guess this is goodbye. I think Mike wanted to see his sisiter before he left."

"She's working," Jeff whispered. He couldn't take seeing Mike much longer.

Mike got out of the truck, and waved at Daffy. "Shes working baby!" Daffy called. Mike rolled his eyes and then stared at Jeff, finally looking back to Daffy. "He wants to know if he can give you one last hug."

Jeff nodded slowly, a few tears fell from his eyes.

"Come on, and hurry you ass up!" Mike was coming up here but when Daffy said that he slowed down, he wouldnt admit it but that hurt.

Jeff met Mike at the door, he couldn't look him in the eye.

"Hey Jeff." Mike stood there akwardly, he didnt want to sat goodbye. He still loved Jeff.
