I Don't Care What They Say, Cause I'm in Love With You

Evan stuck his walking boot clad foot out the car door, grabbing his crutches. It had only been a few weeks since he'd hurt his ankle, but he didn't care, Matt was coming home, and he wanted to be there to welcome him. He hopped his way into the airport and waited.

Meanwhile Matt fidgeted nervously in his seat on the plane, his thoughts shifting to Evan. He knew Henry hadn't meant to injure Evan, but that didn't stop the elder Hardy from wanting a bit of revenge. He just hoped Evan was okay.

Evan sat down on a bench outside the terminal Matt would come out of and waited for the older man to arrive. He knew Matt would probably lecture him to the moon for being up on his ankle, but he didn't care. He wanted to be there when Matt landed, even if his ankle killed him afterwards.

Slowly Matt's plane made its landing on to the runway...

Evan's signature grin crept across his face when he heard the place begin to land. He was so close to having Matt back it was crazy!

Slowly, once it was safe to leave, Matt made his way off the plane and to the terminal he was supposed to go to.

Evan hopped up onto the crutches. If he could have run he would've met Matt at the door before he even got there

Matt smiled, exiting the terminal, that is until he saw his lover Evan up on his crutches on his injured ankle, despite having strict orders not to. Matt chuckled quietly at the smaller man's reckless streak as he strolled over. "Matthew Joseph Korklan," Matt drawled thickly, his tone firm but not angry. "What am I gonna do with a stubborn little knucklehead like you, huh? You know ya ain't supposta' be up on that ankle don't you?"

Evan blushed a little. "I know," Evan said sadly. He stood there shuffling his feet like a scolded child. "but....but...but," Evan began to protest. "It's a whole three hours between here and Cameron Mattie, three hours; I couldn't wait that long to see you, I just couldn't!" he whined.

"Evan... couldn't you have just asked Jeffro to spend time with ya?"

"I'm not with Jeff now am I?" Evan asked. "I haven't waited nearly three weeks to see Jeff now have I?" he continued. "I wanted to see you, not him, you."

Matt sighed. This was going nowhere. All he needed now was for Evan to start pouting then he'd totally cave..

"Awwwwww c'mon Mattie," Evan pouted. "I missed you too much."

Matt bit his lip. He'd never been able to resist the younger Bourne when he pouted like that, and this was no exception. His features softened as he opened his arms for a hug.

Evan grinned, hugging Matt tightly within an instant. "God I missed you Mattie," Evan murmured. "It's lonely being at home alone you know."

"I understand, Evey." Matt purred in Evan's ear, gently kissing his cheek.

Evan smiled. He loved how gentle Matt was with him. He hadn't been used to that before they'd gotten together. "Ready to get home?" Evan asked.

"You bet."

"Lucas missed you too you know," Evan chuckled. "Little furball's been so depressed without his daddy." Evan readjusted hi crutches and hopped toward the car.

"Oh has he?"

Evan nodded. "Slept on your side of the bed the whole time you were gone," Evan said.

"Wow, little fella does miss me."

"He always does, haven't you learned that by now?"

Matt chuckled. "Point taken."

Evan grinned. "Ya know I love ya Mattie," Evan said.
