Stuck Like Glue

Wade frowned, he was officially out of ideas to fix things.
"Chris..." He sighed.

"What." Chris snapped at Wade, his arms hurt and he was not in the mood for any more lies.

"I'll just leave, okay. I don't know why you didn't make me in the first place." Wade closed his eyes and shook his head.

"Okay then go." Chris dared, he Wade was going to leave, he was going to leave. Chris was not going to let himself be bluffed.

Wade stood and placed a kiss on top of Chris's head before kissing his lips.
"I'll be back in the morning. I'm just gonna go think things over tonight. I love you."

Chris swallowed thickly, he was a grown man. This shouldn't hurt so much and it was his fault so he had to beear on night alone. He was usd to being alone.

Wade nodded at Chris and walked out the door, a part of him wishing Chris would ask him to stay.

When the door shut, Chris lost it for a record breaking, second time that night being reduced to nothing but a quivering, sobbing mess."

Wade stopped just outside the door, running his fingers through his hair. He didn't want to leave Chris again but his attempts obviously weren't working one bit and he wasn't going to stay here just to get snapped at.

Chris curled up on the bed, tears still rolling down his cheek and coughing on sobs every now and again. Chris felt he probably deserved to be alone so it was okay, he didnt matter and Wade hd tried.

Wade drove back home, but could barely get any sleep. He was up half the night before he decided to just call him. He dialed the hospitals number. He gave them Chris's room number and they said they would go get him.

Chris had cried so much his throar was raspy and his voice cracked when he spoke but Chris took the call just in case it was imortant. "H-Hello, thsi Chris Jericho."

"Hi Chris." Wade didn't even have to say his name, he knew Chris would recognize his voice.

Chris gulped. "Hey....is something w-wrong?" Chris was wondering if he had changed his mind abiout being with Chris, again. Chris felt tears spring to his eyes.

"No... I just can't sleep." Wade started. "I'm too worried."

Chris furrowed his eyes brow. "Whar are you worried about." He questioned.

"You... I don't want to leave for the night Chris. I just didn't want to lose my temper around you."

"Its fine.......you can forget about it, im okay." Chris lied, he was a wreck.Get some sleep Wade " Chris voice cracked as he said that last word.

"Chris... if I come back can you please hear me out and not immediately think everything I say is a lie?" Wade sighed, he couldn't leave Chris alone.

"I can be quiet and keep my thoughts to myself.....Bu tyou need to go to bed and get your rest, im always alone, one more night wont kill me." Chris gave a humorless laugh that the irony.

"I'm coming back." Wade said simply, before hanging up the phone and getting in his car.

Chris sighed and laid back down, deciding to try and be asleep by the time Wade got here.

Wade arrived within minutes, quickly making his way to Chris's room.

Chris was turned to the wall, his eyes shut and it was quiet except for the beeping on the damn machines.

"You awake Chris?" Wade whispered, sitting down in the chair he'd left only a few hours ago.
