Stuck Like Glue

Chris made a noise in the back of this throat, letting Wade know he was awake but he still tried to go to sleep.

Wade sat on the edge of the bed beside him and stroked his hair.
"Just needed to cool down a bit. And remember why I was here with you in the first place."

Chris wouldn't speak but he had not asked Wade to come. He didn't want Wade to even stop him.

"Kay. I'd appreciate some sort of response so I don't look like I'm talking to myself." Wade chuckled.

"Oh......." Chris mummbled quietly. He didn't feel much like talking right now.

"Don't make me tickle you." Wade grinned, he really wanted to see what Chris's reaction would be to that.

"Please don't." Wase Chris's only responce, he wished Wade would just let him be for 5 seconds without saying something thats supposed to be funny.

"Then talk to me." Wade said simply. "If you were talking I wouldn't have to."

"What do you want me to say?" Chris questioned, turning over to look at Wade with big, blue, bloodshot eyes.

"Anything. I just don't want you to be silent like that."

"Oh.....I miss my watch." Chris shrugged, it was all he would think off, he liked that watch.

"If I go get your damn watch, will you talk to me more?" Wade chuckled.

"If you go get my damn watch, I wont have anything else to talk about."

"Just talk about.. anything. I just want you to stop being so fucking bitter." Wade shook his head. "Be Chris Irvine. Not Chris Jericho."

"They are the same Wade, im not a skitsofrantic psycho." Chris frowned, he was playing dumb.

"Chris you know what I mean. Don't act like your on screen personality. Be the man I know backstage."

Chris didn't want to. Chris Jericho was not easily hurt, he was down to buisness and he never gave a damn but Chris Irvine felt thing, he had good days and bad. He didn't think of himself as great, and he was hurt atlot easier.

"C'mon Chris please. I'm in love with Chris Irvine, not Chris Jericho." Wade said softly.

"Okay." Chris said softly. "You want me, you got me..." He trailed off, he didn't know about this, Chris Jericho was like his wall, it protected him.

"Thank you Chris." Wade leaned down and hugged Chris tightly, kissing him gently.

Chris huggled Wade back, resting his head on Wade's chest. "You do realize, that you still have to go get my watch since im speaking to you now." Chris smiled.

"Of course. I'll be right back. Is it just in your locker room?"

Chris nodded, he had forgotten about the suicide note he had left in the locker room, he was going to have that watch given to his son, and the note would have been found with it.

Wade quickly drove back to the arena and luckily the doors were still open. He jogged to Chris's dressing room and grabbed the watch along with a piece of paper attached to it. He drove back to the hospital.

Chris rememebered the note soon after Wade had left and he prayed Wade wouldt read it.
