SmutFest (Critter/Alex)

Critter grinned, "Thank you." He hugged her. "Im going home." He waved as he got in his truck and took off.

She waved and smiled. They would get along just fine.
She then walked over to her father, knowing this would be the hardest apology to make.
"Daddy?"
"Hey darlin'." Alex sighed looking up at her.
"Daddy, I'm sorry."
"It's okay baby. I'm thinking about ending it..."
He didn't want to but he was feeling guilty about Mike.
"No! Don't! I was wrong daddy, momma does want you and critter to be happy with each other! He came and told me." She said.
"Ya believe me now?" Alex smiled, happy that he wouldn't have to hurt himself and Critter.
"Mhm... daddy Critter loves you."
Alex beamed.
"How do you know that?"
"I can just tell."
"You always did have a way with people." He smiled.
"Now go tell him you love him too. Go on, get." She smirked, kicking him in the butt as he stood.
He chuckled.
"And what if I don't?" That was a lie. Alex did love Critter.
"Oh hush I might be stupid but I'm not oblivious."
Alex laughed.
"Ya want a ride home?"
She nodded and hopped in the car.

Critter and Cameron were out side. The lived in the woods and they ha a swimming hole out back next to the tire swing so that's what they were doing, swimming and swinging. Critter didn't do alot and of this stuff usually, only for his baby. Critter was spread out on the small bank of the water, his daughter counting his scares. She was a one hundred and fifty.

Alex smiled as they pulled up out front of the house and glimpsed Critter and Cameron out back. Alex and Sydney walked back. Sydney smiled up at her father. She wanted to get Critter and him alone time.
"Hey Cameron! Look at those pretty flowers over there. Wanna go pick some with me? To give to your mommy and uncle mikey?" She smiled, bending down in front of the little girl.

Cameron's face lit up but before she went she looked back down at her father. "Two hundred, remember that daddy." She took Sydney's hand and went to go pick some flowers.

Alex laughed at his daughter as she winked at him. She was so adorable when she wasnt a little brat.
He sat down beside Critter.
"So what exactly did two hundred mean? Why do you have to remember that?"

"She is counting my scars. She is getting good at it because I know how many there are and she has only been on my chest so she will be good in math." He smiled up at Alex.

"Two hundred, just on your chest? I was gonna count but I don't think I could count that high." He chuckled.

"Yeah, all in all there are around three hundred and fifty if you count them all." Critter moved so his head was in Alex's lap.

Alex combed his fingers through the short dirty blonde locks, thinking about what Sydney had said.

Critter smiled as his eyes closed. He was more relaxed than he had been in a very long time.

"Do you love me?" Alex said, very bluntly, continuing to run his fingers through Critter's hair.

Critter cracked an eye open. "Yeah, I love you." It was said casually but it was fragile, Critter hadn't loved anyone like this in seven years. But he did love Alex and he wouldn't deny it.

Alex smiled, inside he was filled with joy.
"I love you too." He said, trying to act just as casual.

Critter's breath caught in his throat, hearing it out loud was different. He sighed, his hand tracing a scare in particular. He was happy.

Alex grinned and leaned down, kissing Critter's lips sweetly.

Critter put a hand on the back of Alex's neck. He was so happy at this moment it was surreal and he had Mike to thank for it.
