What Next?

"No...Im not poor. I am not going to be a whiny lover. Im sick, so what."
He would get better, right?

"Yes, but while you're sick I get to baby you." Zack smiled.

"Only while im sick?"
Mike snuggled up to his lover, he was so cold.

"Not like you'll let me any other time." Zack stuck out his tongue.

"I can't be weak like this....I cant open up and let you baby me...if you do I wont be as hard....and if you leave..."
Mike wouldn't be about to take it.

"I won't leave. I promise." Zack said. "But you can be weak or hard, I'll love you just the same."

Mike sighed, he liked hard better but it seemed like he was going to be some where in the middle.

A few weeks later, Mike was mostly better. They allowed Zack to take him home.

This was the first time Mike had been home in a while, he was so happy to be away from the hospital. He was Mike, same old mean Mike, but he did like Zack and he had become a much better lover, he wasn't as cruel as he was, but he was still Mike.

Zack was slightly glad he was still the same old Mike. It'd be too weird if he was all nice and mushy now. This was perfect to him. Mike was just the right amount of good and evil.

Mike sat on his bed. He didn't know if he anted to sleep in one bed or just keep the two. He was not sick anymore, he thought clearly. He was still very distant and standoffish, he might just keep his bed.

Zack was lying in his. He'd had his fingers crossed that Mike would let them share a bed now... but that did not seem like it was going to happen.

Mike would think about it, he would miss going to sleep with Zack wrapped around him in some way but for now they were separate. He laid down on his bed and stared blankly at the ceiling.

After a while of waiting Zack sighed and stood.
"Gettin' a shower." He said. He walked to the bathroom and stripped down. He always got a shower when he needed to think.

Mike simply got under the covers and tried to sleep. He was extremely sensitive to the cold now.

Zack sighed as he turned on the water and stepped in.
He turned up the temperature til it was almost burning his skin. He winced at first but eventually he got used to it, he liked it this way. This is why there were several burns on his back. The hot water relaxed him and he needed relaxed a lot of the time lately.

Mike was having problems going to sleep. He eyed Zack's pillow before getting up and snagging it, replacing it with his own. He nuzzled the pillow and of coarse, it smelt like his lover. Sweet and masculine, tinted with what ridicules shampoo his boyfriend adored. Mike laid his head on his other pillow and clutch's Zack's to his chest.

Zack got a nice long shower. He shaved his legs, yes, he shaved his legs and stepped out. He wrapped a towel around his head, holding up the hair he was attempting to grow long again and one around his waist as he stepped out into the nice air conditioned room

Mike was snoring softly. He had the pillow in a vice like grip. He nuzzled it in his sleep as he shivered. Mike was never warm anymore unless Zack was with him. He was so damn cold right then. Stupid Hypothermia.

Zack chuckled as he noticed the pillow missing from his head in Mike's arms. God, he was adorable when he slept. Well he was adorable 24/7.
Zack let the towel fall to the floor. He quietly put on a pair of boxers and a large t-shirt and laid down in his bed without a pillow. But he didn't mind.

Mike shivered some more. He pulled the blanket's up around him as his body shook. He grumbled in his sleep as he just could not get warm. The pillow was comforting though.

Zack frowned at his boyfriend shivering. He stood and walked over to Mike.
He tapped him on the shoulder.
"Mike baby, ya alright?"

"No....my pillow." Mike grumbled. He moved and shoved the one that he hadn't stole at Zack. '
Mike laid back down and curled up, he he was still shaking, he was cold. This was long term damage of the hypothermia.

Zack frowned.
"Darlin, you're shaking... you cold?"

"Im freezing." Mike muttered as he cocooned himself in his blanket.
