What Next?

Zack closed his eyes and sighed as he got dressed. He picked up the locket and put it on. He laid down, clutching it in his hand.

Mike stood up and grabbed his phone.
"Imma go get my hand fixed, ill be back. Well maybe, if Im not fucking my therapist."

"Can I come with?" Zack hated that he had to ask again. He felt like they were starting over. Zack was Mike's bitch...

"Depends are you into threesomes? Wait never mind, you'll probably go check on Rosa when I leave."

"I will not Mike. Goddamnit I didn't want that!" Zack exclaimed.

"Whatever....."
Mike walked out of the room. He went to the hospital and got his hand put into place and wrapped.

Zack buried his head in the pillow and screamed, muffling the sound. His body shook with sobs. He'd cry now and hopefully the tears would be done by the time Mike was back.

It didn't take long but Mike stayed out. He just wondered around the city. When he finally came home he sat on the edge of his bed and cradled his head in his one good hand.

Zack hadn't heard Mike come in so he continued bawling, screaming obscenities into his pillow.

Mike sighed and stood. He sat on the edge of Zack's bed and stared at him.
He didn't wanna touch him, he wanted to go back to being master and only touching when he wanted a fuck.
But he loved Zack to much to watch him cry like this.
He hesitantly rubbed Zack's back with his good hand.

Zack jumped about a foot in the air.
"Y-you're back." He quickly wiped his eyes.

"Yes I am, thank you for clarifying that" Mike sighed as he stared at Zack.
He wanted to be smart and ask why he was crying, if Rosa refused him because she was scared of it. But he couldnt hurt him like that.

Zack dug the palms of his hands into his eyes, mentally shouting at the tears to stop.

"Stop it. Quit crying Zack. You have no reason to cry. Im.....Im here."
He was even thought he didnt wanna be.

"We're going back to the fucking start!" Zack screamed uncovering his face, revealing the tears pouring down his cheeks. "And I didn't cheat on you in the first place!"

Mike couldn't take that.
He pulled Zack into his arms and held him tight.
"No....No....No....."
He sighed, it was all he could say.

Zack tried but could not force himself to stop shaking as he cried on Mike's shoulder.

Mike patted his back soothingly.
"Shhhh, I love you Zack...I was just upset. I have been doing so much to try and get better for you and I come home and she is on top of you, kissing you...."

"I-I didn't want it." Zack hiccuped. "I w-wanted you." He said softly.

"If it means anything.....I did make progress...I was going to come home and make love to you...and then sleep in the same bad through the night. I brought you flowers and that locket. I was not and I am not cheating on you....I was trying to make tonight special...."

Zack's breath hitched in his throat.
"You were going to make love to me?" He asked softly.

"Yes...I know your used to me being rough but I wanted....just for one time if I could...Just be gentle and just love you while im doing it...I mean I love you all the time but we haven't dont that since I was in the hospital and before that I was just fucking...."

Zack squeezed him tighter and kissed him softly.
"That's so sweet. And thank you for the locket. And for doing all this for me."

"Zack....you cant even keep the roses. All you got out of tonight was that locket..."

"And you. You're staying. And that's all I need. The locket is just extra. Although it is beautiful and I love it."
