What Next?

Maryse looked up.
"Is he okay now that he is snapped out of it?"
Thats what it took, there was no other way.

"Yeah he fucking is." Zack snapped. "He's just fucking crying now."

Maryse sighed and looked at Zack sympathetically.
"Now you have got to go and try to calm him down....Gain his trust back....It wont be that bad because you did it to help him, first time the guy had to break his jaw to snap him out of it. I know he wont hit you anymore....first times he didnt even want to hurt you, it was all he knew. I know Mike, he wont hit you again but even when he did he didnt really hurt you. You and him will be fine."

Zack yelled in frustration. Why was she acting like this was no big deal?

"Stop...You wont help him by screaming and being upset. You need to be strong for him the one time. I promise you, when he gets out of here, he wont cry anymore, he will be the same Mike he was before."

"Stop fucking blowing it off!" Zack exclaimed. He had made Mike cry. Twice in one day. And he would NEVER forgive himself for that.

"You don't calm down, when he had stopped crying and you walk in all hysterical like you are, you will only set him off again. He cant be mad right now, he cans only hurt."

"My god, I shouldn't have listened to you in the first place. I'm sure he would've snapped out of it eventually. Or the doctors could've done something. But no, I had to listen to you and HIT HIM. Goddamnit."

"Zack, I promise you, he would not have snapped out of it and no doctor could have done anything. You hit him, you brought him out of it. He is okay." She sighed and patted his shoulder.
"Go hug him and love him while he is vulnerable enough to allow it."

Zack growled and walked off. He was not a happy person. He felt like he had been tricked.

Mike asleep, his cheek was blue, purple and black with pink out lining it. The doctor was pissed at the condition of Mike's face, he had been going to ban Zack from the room but Mike had thrown a fit, so he didn't

The doctor should be glad he did not ban Zack. There would have been hell to pay. Zack frowned as he laid eyes on Mike.

Mike was still cold, he trembled and shivered in his sleep and he mumbled his lovers name without knowing it.

Zack wanted to smile as Mike said his name. That was the sweetest he had ever heard Mike say it.

Mike sniffled and he pulled the covers around him more.
"Z-Zack....Make him st-stop..."

Zack hugged Mike in his sleep.
"I'm right here baby." He cooed.

Mike seemed to calm down, a small smile on his lips as Zack hugged him.
"Love you...."

"Love you too." Zack gave a small smile as he kissed Mike's forehead.

Mike moved his head away, he didn't want anyone touching his face.
"Not the face." He mumbled, his eyes to heavy to open.

"I'm sorry Mikey." He cooed, caressing his hand with his thumb.

Mike quieted down.
"Are you okay?"
Last time he had saw his bitch....his lover, he had been crying and so had Mike. But what Mike was worried about was if ZACK was okay.

"I'm fine. I'm just upset that I hit you..." Zack sighed.

Mike's hand came up to trace the outline of where Zack punched him.
"I have hit you before Zack...." Mike was not proud of it either.

"Well it's different..." Zack murmured.

"Zack....its not different. I hit you...and Im so sorry...I didn't really mean it, its just all I have ever known...You'll be my first real lover." Mike sighed, his eyes remained closed.
