Joe carefully examined the baby. It was perfect, he concluded as he pressed a kiss to her cheek.
"She looks like you..."

The baby giggled.
"Looks like you too..." Husky smiled.

"Our baby....Brianna." Joe grinned, this was worth whatever Kofi would do to him. He was truly happy.

"Who I am not going to get to spend the first week of her life with." Husky sighed as he caressed the baby's cheek with his thumb.

"Husky....I don't wanna not be with my baby on her first night...but I don't want her to come home with me and Kofi....
He didn't wanna risk Kofi hurting her.

"I don't want him to touch her, period. I don't want him to hold her... and I swear if he calls her his child I'll flip.." Husky sighed.

"Husky....just be happy you can have her the first week." This hurt Joe, he wanted to see his baby. "Its going to kill me....I carried her for nine months and the first night I can hold her she wont be with me..."

Husky sighed.
"Unless you would come spend the night..." He murmured. But he knew there was a slim chance of that happening.

"I.........."
He would take his punishment like a man. But he would be with his baby tonight.

"Shouldn't have suggested that." Husky sighed. "I'm sorry."

Joe sighed.
"Will Tristan mind....."
It burned him that his baby would have another momma but he would have to deal. Sure Kofi was gunna be its papa but that was different. Joe had carried this child for nine months.

"Why would Tristan mind?" Husky asked. "He likes you. And he'll do anything to get me to smile."

"Well.....Don't you and him have something going? Isn't he Brianna step momma?"
It really did burn. But he wanted Husky to be happy.

Husky laughed softly.
"He's just a friend Joe. A close friend but just a friend. He's just always wanted a baby but no matter how many times he has unprotected fucks, they never get him knocked up." He smirked.

Joe smiled at Husky.
"Im scared....."
And he was, Kofi was going to hurt him. He knew he was and he was afraid, but he had to face the music. Husky couldn't help.

"You shouldn't have to be... I could protect you." He said softly.

"No....Im going to give him one more chance I guess. i wont put the baby in danger but I....I am about ready to just let him go. I love you,...."

"He gets two chances. So if he hits you again tonight or whenever, he is dead. I love you too."

Joe grinned at him.
"Okay.....So expect it because he is pissed...."

Husky narrowed his eyes.
"I'm serious. I will beat the living hell out of him... You're a mother now. He cannot hit you."

"Husky....Ill deal with it until I cant take it anymore. I owe him or I would not take this, I dont need broken bones and bruises but ill have them I guess..."

"Joe, you don't owe him shit. You would owe him if he loved you. But he obviously does not or he wouldn't hit you in the first place."

"He loves me...or else he wouldnt care that I think of you every day when I wake up and when I go to sleep. But he does, so he loves me..."

Husky shook his head and sighed.
"Fine. Let him abuse you."

Joe looked down as if he had been scolded. He was paler that usual, he had lost blood but he was okay, just stressed and upset. Brianna was healthy, still pink.
