"But I'll like it." He smiled. "So don't worry about it."

They got to the park and Ted took a seat on the swing set.
"Wanna swing with me?"

Alex smiled and nodded as he hopped on the swing beside Ted.

Ted swung his feet.
"I miss my momma and Brett and my daddy...I always miss daddy but still." He heaved a sigh.

Alex frowned.
"I can walk you back to your house if you want."

"No, im tired of it, im tired of always being left with the maid while momma cheats. I hate that daddy is always gone and misses all the special things, I hate that I have to be the one to tell Bret that momma left again and I don't know when daddy will be back. Im tired of being ignored. Im tired of it...."

Alex frowned and wrapped his arms tightly around Ted. He held him to his chest.
"You won't be ignored when I'm here."

"I know....I know...." Ted hid his face in Alex's chest. He was done crying about it, he just felt safe and protected in Alex's arms.

"Shhh, ir's okay Ted. It's gonna be okay. You have me now." Alex cooed softly.

"Its not that okay, but I do have you I guess...Im glad, if I didnt have you no telling where I would be..."

"I don't wanna take you away from your family though." Alex frowned.

"Alex, Its not much of a family, daddy is never home, momma is never home because she is out with other guys. I go to school and then come home to the maid and my little brother. My big brother doesn't like me tagging along with him or being in his room with him. I do nothing but sit in an empty house with Brett....And them when momma is home, she is either more worried about Bret or Dustin because they are the older and the youngest, im the middle, Im ignored....I don't have a close family."

"Well think about Brett, he's probably missing you like crazy. Now he's all alone..."

"Nah....Im sure if momma noticed she would make sure Brett had company...Are you trying to get me to leave? Do you not want me here anymore?" Ted pulled away, his eyes shining with confusion and hurt.

"No, Ted. Of course I want you here. I just... I might not have the greatest family, but I couldn't leave them. I do love them all, to an extent." Alex frowned.

"I love my family too, don't think I don't but....I'm alone anyways most of the time and I was tired of it, I was going to do something or come out here and die trying."

Alex frowned.
"I couldn't do that. Even if I wanted to, I'd never have the guts to actually leave."

"Well, I did and if you don't want me to stay with you I can go get my nap sack and I can go on. Im not going to stay if you dont want me too and im not going home."

"Ted, no, I want you here. I was just making sure you didn't want to go home." He frowned. "If you're going to leave I want it to be before I'm too attached."

"Alex, I think before I do things. I left and I don't plan on going back. Im either here with you or im on my way to find somewhere to sleep for tonight."

"Well then you're here with me." He grinned and kissed Ted's cheek.

Ted gave a small smile as he began to swing.
"Are you going to come get me or do I wait for an hour before coming back?"

"I'll come get you." Alex smiled.

Ted nodded, he would wait for Alex to come get him. He worried for his friends safety though.

HE kissed Ted sweetly and backed away.
"I'll be back as soon as I can."
