Story Of The Year(Anyone)

"Hi Ted, I'm Alex." He smiled.

"How old are you?" Ted cocked his head to the side just like he had done when asking the first time. "Im ten today." Ted grinned, his cheeks hurting.

Alex laughed.
"I'm eleven and a half." He gave the same proud smile.

Ted laughed at him as he let his swing rock a little bit. "Where do you live?" He asked, just like he had but this time with was with a knowing smile.

"Well, I'm not supposed to tell strangers." Alex chuckled.

Ted laughed and leaned aver to kiss him sweetly.
"You were and are so cute."

"But not nearly as cute as you." Alex smiled and took Ted's hand.

Ted tensed up as a car drove by.
"We should go...."

Alex sighed.
"Yeah." He stood and grabbed his suitcase in one hand, Ted's in the other.
"Lead the way." He smiled.

Ted gently took his suite case form Alex before walking on. They walked for a long while until they came to a very small town. Not much at all but a gas station, a restaurant and a hotel, a cheap, sleazy hotel but a hotel non the less.

Alex took Ted's suitcase back as they walked.
"I'll carry it for you." He smiled."You want to get a room here?"

"Looks like the cheapest hotel we will ever get." Ted took the suit case back. "And you have yours, ill deal with mine."

Alex stuck out his tongue at Ted and mockingly rolled his eyes.
"Anyways, let me pay for this room please."

"Look Alex, we have a good little bit of money together. It doesn't matter." Ted pulled out his wallet and handed it to Alex.
"Its ours."

Alex sighed.
"I know, but gentlemen are supposed to pay for their 'lady.' It makes me feel good."

Ted laughed.
"Im your lady now? I thought I was your boy. You said I was your boy so I couldn't kiss anyone else and I didn't so there, im your boy, not your girl."

"That's why I air quoted lady." Alex stuck out his tongue.

"Well still." Ted rolled his eyes and kissed Alex's cheek.
"You need help." He shook his head with a laugh.

"I do not. You are the firl in this relationship so I'm calling you a lady." Alex grinned.

Ted smirked and turned his head, crossing his arms.
"I bet Randy would have called my his husband and not his wife."

"And I bet Randy would have raped you by now too." Alex said matter of factly.

And that stopped Ted. He said no more. He was trying to joke but that had hurt. He didn't know why because it was just a fact but it still stung. Ted took his suite case in hand. "Ill be over there." He pointed to a bench before walking off the sit on it.

Alex cursed and followed Ted.
"Ted, I'm sorry." He sighed. "That just upset me what you said. So i was ppissed and didnt think about responding."

"Its fine Alex, I shouldn't have said that. I was just kidding I didn't mean to upset you. Now go get us a room please." Ted had sat down and was holding his suite case to his chest.

"Come with me please." Alex sighed.
