Fall For You

Mike growled and sat beside Drew, holding him in his arms.
"I am the father of this house and the man that will do whatever it takes to send you to hell if you hurt MY child or MY husband." Mike growled, his arms curling tightly around Drew and Paige.

"Fine, I just came to meet my daughter. And apologize to the both of you for what I did." He sighed at how afraid Drew was. He took Drew's hand and kissed the back of it.
"I won't hurt you again." He said softly and kissed Drew's forehead.
"Bye Paige." He smiled and then he was gone.
Drew was shaking.

Mike was out raged.
"Oh fuck no he just didn't."
Mike stood up and pulled Drew with him. He took Paige in one arm before putting her in the living room so they could watch her, he turned on the TV for her before sitting infort of Drew and pulling him into his arms.
"Ill send him to hell in a hand basket."

Paige was far too confused to watch television.
"Daddy... why'd he saw I was his kid?" She tilted her head to the side.

Mike held Drew tighter.
"Drew...what do you want me to say? The truth or you want me to cover?

"The t-truth... s-she'll hate us if she f-finds out we l-lied to her later on." Drew said, his body still trembling.

"Paige...Sweetie." Mike picked her up and sat her in his lap.
"That man is your real daddy. Thats why you dont look like me...you look like him"

"But he hurt momma..." She frowned. "I don't want him to be my real daddy."

"Im sorry baby...." Mike didnt know what else to say, that was her real daddy one way or the other.

She frowned.
"I'm not gonna call him that. You're daddy..."

Mike cradled Paige to his chest.
"Yeah....im your daddy."
But not your real daddy.

Drew frantically rubbed the spot on his forehead where James' lips had been. It burned.
"Mike, I'm getting another shower." Drew frowned and stood.

Mike sighed and gave a small nod, Before he went Mike stopped him and kissed over his forehead and the back of his hand.

Drew smiled softly and hugged his husband with a whimper.
"I don't like it." He shook his head and walked off to the shower.

"Well squirt, lets go fine something to do. And your sleeping with me tonight sweetheart."

Drew sat down on the shower floor after he started the water. He just let it pour over him, the water blending in with his tears.

"Okay daddy." Paige grinned. She yawned. "But I'm still tired. Can we just go to sleep?"

"Of coarse baby."
Mike laid down in his and Drew';s bed with Paige wrapped securely in his arms.

Paige snuggled up to her father.
"Daddy, is that man coming back?"

"I hope the hell not, but if he does dont worry, I will protect you and your momma no matter what."

"I know you will daddy... but what if you're at work?' She looked up worriedly.

Mike swallowed hard.
"Baby......Im going to be home more, ill make sure of it and all you have to do is call and ill be there in a heart beat baby."

"Okay..." She had many more what ifs but she'd keep them to herself. "I love you."

"I love you more pumpkin, so much." Mike held Paige tightly.

"Nuh uhhh, I wuv you more." She grinned.

"Sureee whatever you say Paige." Mike laughed as he settled in for the night.
