"To enroll Paige in school." And he was. But he had to make a pit stop first...

Mike nodded and went to go make supper for his two babies. He trusted Drew, not one doubt in his mind that he was lying of leaving something out.

Drew smiled and kissed his husband and his daughter before walking out the door. Soon, he arrived at the real destination. Paradise Peak cemetary. He hated lying to Mike but he couldn't tell him about this. He'd never understand. It'd just upset him. Yes, this was better. Drew pulled his coat tighter around him, teeth chattering as the winter air enveloped him. He let out a shaky breath as he pulled the paper out of his pocket. He shuddered as the cold souless eyes that invaded his dreams almost every night bored into him. This was all the information he'd managed to get on his rapist. He'd been doing his research. Drew couldn't quit staring at the man's mugshot. He was smirking. The eyes were just as smug, and evil looking as Drew remembered them being that night...

He shook the thoughts out and glanced down at the man's name.
James. James Black...
Drew Black... Paige Black.
No Mizanin was much better.
Drew searched through the tombstones until he stopped. There it was.
James Black1985 - 2010   RIPDrew let out a shaky breath, seeing it in the air in front of him as he knelt in front of the grave. It was completely desolate. No flowers,no sign of visitors whatsoever..."Umm... hello there...." Drew mumbled. He felt retarded."Uh, I don't know if you remember me." I'm just some guy you raped.. "But you sort of raped me..." Yeah, he was totally stupid. "Well I got pregnant and had the child. A while ago actually. She's almost six. But, um, I'm supposed to come talk to you, therapist says. I, just wanted to show you this too."Drew pulled out a picture."This is her. Paige." He held out the picture of his daughter into the air. "She's yours... but she doesn't know it. So I'd appreciate you not mentioning anything if you decide to like come down as a ghost or something..." Drew murmured. He didnt want James to come down..."Okay well, erm I might visit every once in a while... goodbye."Drew tried to stand and leave but couldn't. He couldn't move. He was terrified of this man even though he was dead. He burst into tears and held his knees to his chest. He just cried for a while, the cold freezing his tears. He swore he felt a hand on his shoulder... wiping away his tears.But no, he was imaging things... had to be...

Mike was unaware of this. He was at him with HIS baby, cooking her supper. He took breaks in between cooking so he could go back and forth and play with his baby. Paige was beautiful to him, even if she bore no resemblance to him. He fixed Paige and himself a plate when he was finished cooking. They sat at the table and ate together.

Drew felt dirty. He felt guilty as he walked back home. He had done nothing wrong, right?
"Hey my babies!" He beamed as he walked in the door, he'd done his best to hide the fact that he'd been crying.

One look at Drew and he knew, he just knew he had been crying and he had a gut feeling that he had been lied to.
"Hi."

Drew walked over and kissed Mike's cheek, then Paige's.
"I miss anything?"

"No. I have just spent time with my baby on my day off."
Drew wasn't here to spend time with today. Mike felt like he had been lied too and Mike never got to be home and spend time with his family and when he did Drew left.

Drew sighed.
"I'm sorry baby. I just wanted to go get her enrolled awhile." He hugged Mike. "But I'm here now." He grinned.

"Mhmmm."
Mike heaved a sigh. "Paige baby, will you go get daddy the salt?" Mike waited until she was gone before looking over at Drew.
"Did you lie to me? If you did I want to know now where you really went."

Drew cursed under his breath. Goddamnit, he couldn't act for shit.
"Yes I did... but I had a good reason. I'll explain later. When Paige is sleeping. I need to explain it fullly or you'll be upset." Drew sighed.

Mike snorted and shook his head before going to help Paige before she knocked something down. He came back with Paige in one arm and Drew a plate in the other.

Drew looked down, ashamed.
"Thank you." He murmured. He ate in silence and then set his empty place in the sink.

When Paige and Mike were done Mike went to wash the dishes. Paige, wanted to spend time with her daddy helped by drying them off after Mike washed them. After the dishes were washed and put away he took Paige to give her a bath.

Drew sighed.
Mike was mad.
And Drew really did not want to tell him the truth...

As Mike passed Drew he wrapped an arm around his waist and tugged him.
"Come spend time with me. Help me give Paige her bath."

Drew gave a small smile and nodded. He stood and walked into the bathroom with his lover.

Mike turned the water on and helped his baby strip before sitting her in the tub to play with her toys in the warm water.

Drew smiled at his baby, so happy in the water. He remembered a time when he thought his life was perfect. There was nothing in the world to worry about...

Mike leaned his head on Drew shoulder.
"I love you....."

"I love you too." He wanted to say I love you more like all cute couples. But he had a feelign Mike would take that to heart.

And he would have, it would have ate at him, gave him another reason to hurt and sent him into a deeper depression. Speaking of that he had forgotten his pills.

Drew grinned as he scooped a handful of bubbles into his hand. He held the hand in front of himself and blew it at Mike and some at Paige with a laugh.

Mike sneezed at the bubbles before give Drew a looks and gently pushed Paige aside before pick Drew up and dropping him into the water with a grin.

Drew gasped as he was drenched from head to toe. He looked up at Mike with a mocking glare.
"Ya're dead." He stuck out his tongue as he got out of the tub. "C'mon baby, I want a hug." He grinned, stepping towards Mike with open arms, dripping water.
Paige giggled. She rarely got to see her parents play around like this.
