"Can I talk to Rick?"
He leaned against his father, he was nervous.

"Umm, sure." Sydney shrugged. "Rick baby, someone wants to see you!" She called.
A moment later, Rick jogged into view. He pecked Sydney's lips with a smile before glancing at the door and panicking.
"Um, hey Alex... Kevin..."

Kevin gave a sad smile before grabbing his arm and pulling him off to the side. "Im pregnant. Im telling you because you deserve to know that im going to have your baby...And I wont tell Syd if you dont want her to know...."

"P-pregnant...?" Rick stammered, looking down at Kevin's stomach. "M-mine...." He had a child but Carrie wasn't really his...

Kevin gave a small nod.
"Yeah, Its yours, no one else has had me. And its okay, I dont wanna screw up what you and Sydney have...

"Kevin..." He looked to make sure Sydney wasn't watching before whispering. "Things haven't been the same since we were together..."

"What do you mean? I know I fell in love with you, and even for the baby I can't fuck up your life..."

"I... I see you a lot. Instead of seeing her when I wake up in the morning, I see you there. Instead of seeing her when we make love, I wish it was you underneath me... When Carrie has a nightmare and asks to come sleep with us, I wish it was our baby... and now I have a chance to have that.... I feel like it's a sign..."

"Rick....You want me more than you want Sydney? " Kevin cocked his head to the side, his hand gently rubbing his belly. If that was true then he would just cry from the pure joy of it all.

"I... I think I do..." Rick said softly. "I can't stop these feelings Kevin..."

"Then act on them. I dont wanna have this baby alone and I love you." Kevin stared up at him pleadingly.

"I... I love you tooKevin." He sighed and pulledKevin into a hug.

Kevin welcomed the hug, his arms quickly wrapping around Rick's neck. "What are we going to go?"

"I.. have no clue." Rick sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I really don't know..."

Kevin let out a shaky sigh.
"I am not making you leave her. You don't have too."

"I want to. She's a great girl. She deserves someone whose whole heart will be hers..."

"And who does your whole heart belong to?" He hated how he got his hopes up.

"You." Rick said simply. "It has ever since we made love it's belonged to you..."

A grin spread across his face as he nuzzled Rick's chest.
"What will you do?"

"I don't know. Give me a bit. Maybe a week. I need to break it to her gently and I have no clue when I'll get up the courage to do it... Oh and can you buy me a shield? I think your dad is gonna murder me."

"I told him Rick, he touched you he will have to knock me out because if not ill stick my foot up his ass....."
He would be alone for a while it seemed...

Rick sighed.
"You're too sweet. But I deserve whatever Alex wants to do to me." He frowned. Sydney was really a great woman...

"You might be leaving Sydney, his favorite...But Im his kid too...." Kevin sighed and eyed his father.

"I know... it's just what I'm doing to her isn't fair." He sighed as he hugged Kevin. "I love you okay?"

"Okay." Kevin pulled away, what wasn't fair was how he was always second best to Sydney, she is always so damn important and he gets brushed off.
