Somewhere With You

"Course he can." Rick smiled. Alex perked up and grinned softly but it faded as he thought of Miek's words again.

Mike pulled Alex over and handed him the device, he took Alex's hand and guided it, pressing it to Kevin's belly and moving it around while watching the small screen. He pointed.
"Its a little boy."

Rick beamed as he took Kevin's hand with the hand that was not covered in jelly.
"Our little baby boy..." He grinned proudly.

Mike leaned his head on Alex's shoulder.
"See our grandbaby?"
Kevin was grinning for ear too ear.
"Precious...Rick Jr."

"So it is Rick Jr." He smiled widely at his fiance.
"Yes, hes so beautiful..."

Kevin giggled and nodded vigorously. Mike messed with the device and made it spit out four pictures. He had one for each of them. He then cleaned off his device and handed Rick something to clean Kevin off with.

Rick grinned at his lover as he cleaned him off, then showered his stomach in kisses.

Kevin giggled and squirmed away. He hugged Rick and kissed him firmly.
"A boy, Rick Jr!"

Mike watched with a small smile as he packed his things and put them away.
"Well you two just gave Kevin his first ultra sound, be proud."

Ric beamed as he held his lover tightly.
"Our little baby boy..."

Alex smiled, he was so happy for his son and son in law. But he haed what Mike had said. Damn that got to him. He sighed.

Mike stood up.
"Okay, I think its time for breakfast."
He strolled into the kitchen. Kevin smiled sadly at him and leaned against Rick.
"So...We agree he is Rick Jr?"

Alex gave a sad smile as he left the room, not wanting to be the third wheel and followed Mike into the kitchen.
"That's more than fine with me if its what you want." Rick grinned.

Mike turned to him and smiled, kissing him softly.
"And how is MY baby feeling today." Mike carded his fingers through Alex's hair.

Kevin nodded.
"Rick Jr, I like it." He nuzzled Rick's neck.

Alex attempted to smile but failed.
"I...I don't know you the best anymore?" He frowned slightly.

Rick grinned.
"I like it too."

Mike paused and let out a sigh.
"So that's whats bothering you. Baby forget about it, I didnt mean anything by it."

"Middle name?" Kevin asked as he pulled Rick inton the kitchen.

"How am I supposed to forget about it?!" Alex exclaimed running a hand through his hair. "You still know me the best, by far. Lane doesn't even come close."

"Hmm, you pick it." Rick smiled.

"Oh baby...." Mike gently caressed his cheek. "Baby its not like Daffy or Quincy knows me, just Kevin and even so you probably still know me the best."

"I dunno, I like the name Dewayne but thats my brothers name."

Alex still sighed.
"Then why did you say I didn't?"

"Dwayne's nice baby." Rick smiled.

"Because at the moment it don't seem like you do, but Kevin does but im sure it wont last." Mike pressed their lisp together.

"No, that is my brothers name. We need a different one." Kevin pouted.

Alex kissed back.
"Baby, I love you more. I came back. But now... it just feels like you don't believe me." Alex sighed.

"WEll fine then pick a new one." Rick grinned, kissing his cheek.

"Its hard to believe you Alex...but im trying to okay? I really am, but lately you dont catch things like Kevin does. Give it time."

"Hmmm Carson?" Kevin looked at his loving imploringly.

"What do you mean? What haven't I caught?" Alex frowned.

"I love it." Rick smiled sweetly.

"See? You don't even know but im not blaming you, last few days have been bad."

Kevin beamed and stepped into the kitchen then stepped out as he saw his parents. "I think they are having a moment."

"Well you need to tell me. Cause sometimes I see things but don't mention them." He pouted.

"Yeah..." Rick sighed with a deep frown.

"Oh yeah? Like what?" Mike challenged as he crossed his arms and raised a brow.

"What do you think its about?" But he already knew.

"Baby I dont' have an example but just tell me what I missed." He frowned.

"I don't know hun..." Rick trailed off.
