Somewhere With You

Mike pecked his lips.
"See? I bet Kevin would know, Just little things about me that hint to much bigger things." Mike went back to cooking.

Kevin pouted.
"What's wrong Rick?"
He was trying too not think of it

"Damnit, Mike, tell me." Alex frowned.

"Nothing baby, I just hate your parents fighting. Well having a moment." Rick sighed.

"Alex, later. Kevin, Rick, I know you two are there so come on in here. We are not fighting."

"It really does bother you doesn't it..." He didn't like it either but he took Rick's hand and led him into the kitchen.

Alex grumbled.
"Nope we're not fighting. Im just peachy." He grinned sarcastically.

Rick sighed and patted Alex's shoulder as they walked into the room.

Kevin sighed and went over to his momma.
"Your doing it again."
"Doing what?"
"That thing that you do."
"What?"
"Momma that thing with your cheek it jumps when your disappointed, it twitches." Kevin pointed out.
Mike cursed him and told him to go away.
"Nope, I love you too much." He hugged his mother, his chest pressing him momma's back as he looked over his shoulder.

Alex simply stood and left the room.
Mike's cheek never used to fucking do "that thing..."
Rick sighed and debated going after him.

Mike looked at him and cursed.
"Kevin baby, he is upset because he dont know me like he used too. I have changed, my cheek used to not do that....Maybe I should talk to him."

Alex's jaw was clenched as he sat on their bed and stared out the window.
It hurt. He was pissed. So he hadn't seen Mike in a while but he still picked up on things. Still knew his husband better than anyone, right? Mike knew him better than anyone. Apparently no one gave a fuck to get to know Alex that well...
And the way Mike just brushed it off like nothing hurt him even more. But no, he wouldn't cry. Not again.

Mike finally got up and went to get Alex. He plopped down in his lap and leaned against him.
"Alex baby, I have just changed since being with you and Kevin has been here to see it. You have not, your still catching up and you will know me better than anyone, just like always. I still know you better than anyone because no matter how anyone tries or who your with, your mine and you have been mine for almost seventy years." Mike held his hands. "I didnt brush you off baby, the kids were watching..."

"Fine. Sure." Alex said in a monotone voice, his expression blank.

"Alex Riley you stop that. You talk to me, I am your husband and you need to talk to me."

"Fine. It hurts. I hate it. I'm trying my ass off over here to be the same Alex. To act like we used to. But it feels like every chance you get, you throw it in my face that something has changed. And I hate it."

"Alex baby...Im so sorry..." Mike stood up and left the room, he got his jacket and left the house completely, trying his hardest not to cry.

"Goddamnit." Alex muttered as he chased after Mike. No matter how bad he was hurting, he always had to go after Mike...

Mike was at Daffy's. He was alone in the living room, his tears falling faster and faster as he thought of what he was doing to Alex.

Alex pulled out his phone after he couldn't find Mike.
He called Mike's phone

Daffy heard the phone, he knew Mike wouldn't answer it. Daffy went in and picked up n the phone, taking it into his room.
"Hello?"

"Goddamnit!" He cursed. "Mike's there?" He drug a hand across his face. Did Mike really not give a fuck at all anymore?

"Yeah man, he is really upset so he came over he and we all just kinda left him alone so, leave em', come get em' one way or the other he aint doing so good,.....Are you okay?"
Yes Daffy had just asked that.

"I've... been better." Alex sighed. "I'm coming over... if thats okay. I need to at least get him..."

"If you dont know where it is, Kevin does. You can come get him but im not guaranteeing you he will go. I tried to talk to him and he threw something at me so im warning you man."

"Well then I gotta talk to him." He sighed. "I think I remember where you are."

"Okay but Alex....Im worried about him and you both. If you can't talk to eachother you guys will fall apart and I dont want that...."

"I'm tryin to talk. I talked and he ran off so... I don't know..." He sighed. "I'm on my way." He said blankly before shutting the phone.

Daffy went back into the room the check on Mike. Dewayne had made his way down and he was the only one Mike would speak to.
