Somewhere With You

"Everything, Im just being a baby. Im fine.....I dont know what happened or how I changed..whats different, I just dont know..." Mike leaned into the touch.

"Well you've changed... but it's just where we are too. We're dead.... and I hate it. I love Kevin and Jessie but... now we had to deal with the Aaron issue, now there's Dewayne..." He whispered the name in case he was listening. "And Daffy's back and... I just hate it. I don't regret letting myself die, cause now I can be with you but." He sighed.

Mike looked down.
"Daffy is not doing anything, he is trying to be friends with you and Dewayne.....You can tell me to brush him off but Kevin will nut up. I need Kevin, he is my baby and your and the most precious thing ever. I know its different.....But you never see Aaron, you wont see D alot unless you come over here but I would like for you to tolerate him. I need you...."

"Well I don't plan on coming here. At all. Only one here I could talk to is Sarah and I didn't know Lane was here...." He sighed.

"Alex....."
Mike sighed and kissed him lightly.
"Okay baby....Okay."

"Does he like, live here?" Alex sighed. "Cause I want to be able to come get you when you run off here without being worried about..." Being scared shitless that I'll fall for him again... "You know." He shrugged.

"I think he does, if not he spends alot of time over here. "
Mike knew what he was thinking.....and it burned a hole in his chest.

Alex sighed as kissed Mike's cheek.
"Then please baby, do us both a favor and when you're upset, don't run here to hide. Pick somewhere I can go."

"Yeah...because if I come here I will eventually lose you to him for the second time and we both know it." Mike turned away.

"Mike no.... I just don't want to do something I'll regret.." Alex sighed.

"You wont regret it when you get it."
When he got Lane back.It would be Mike he regretted.

"Baby, I'll never regret you. I love you so much baby." Alex sighed.

Mike just hugged him.
"You would leave me or do something and we both know it....I can't let you be around him. And I warn you now, if it ever happens, you think what you want, but I will fuck him up."

"Mike..." Alex paused, wanting to say something about how there was no way he could take Lane. He wasn't saying mike was weak but Lane was... he was Lane. That simple. But he didn't. "Okay baby."

"Alex, you think im blowing smoke but im not. Im telling you and I will do it right fucking now. Don't think I wont and don't think I cant."

"Baby I think you could kick anyone's ass... he's just, I dunno. Forget it. You kick his ass if I go back to him." Alex sighed with a small smile.

"I will fight for you, I was dead, I couldnt but now, he wont have you or fucking touch you without a fight. You think Im not jealous, Alex Ill kill a person over you."

"Okay baby, it's alright. Don't worry." He kissed Mike's forehead.

"Lets go home Alex.' Mike stood up and pulled Alex with him. He was a dangerous man with it came to Alex.

"ALright let's go baby." Alex kissed the top of Mike's head and walked out of the room.

Kevin looked up at his parents but made no move to get up.
"Kevin, come on."
"No."
Mike paused and looked at him. "What?"
"Im staying here, I wanna spend a little time here. But if you need me momma you know where I am."
Mike didn't wanna leave him.

"Kev, please come on." Alex gave Kevin a small look, that said Mike needed him now.

Kevin stood, his head hanging. Daffy was on his knees in a heart beat, kissing the baby bump.
"By papa..."
"By Kev."
Daffy let him go and let Dewayne hug his brother and kiss his cheek.
Kevin stood with Alex and Mike, still rather upset...

Alex sighed, taking Mike's hand and pulling him out the door quickly before he would say something about Daffy being Kevin's papa.

Mike held Kevin's hand.
"Are you mad at Rick?"
"A little."
"Why?"
"I just wanted him to meet the family, he didn't want to...."
"I don't blame him, he probably hears bad things."
"Yeah but still...I didn't wanna go alone, its OUR baby I was showing off and the ring HE proposed to me with and he wasn't there...." Kevin sniffled.
"Your just pregnant and moody."
"I know but still...."
