Somewhere With You

Kevin sighed and lowered his head.
"Momma's right, before this is over he will try and smoother me."

"No Rick isn't that type... I am with anyone else but it was your mom, I loved him too much to get angry with him. Rick will just get hurt. I've only seen him cry once but you'll probably see him cry before you have the kid."

Kevin looked up.
"Oh daddy...I can't do this to him...I can't make him cry." Kevin shook his head.
"I will go stay with Dewayne before I do that."

"That'll hurt him more baby. He'll cry anyways if you leave. You just stay here, try to stay calm, and try and think before you talk."

"He knows I love him right? He knows I dont mean it....right?"
Kevin looked at his father worriedly.

"I'm sure he does. But it hurts. Deep down I always knew your momma loved me but sometimes you just are caught off guard. Tell me exactly what you said."

"He told me ha hated when I was like this and I told him him...Like what? Pregnant because you knocked me up."
Kevin looked down; ashamed.

"Baby..." Alex sighed. "You really can't say shit like that. Damn, that would hurt. You go up there right now and tell him you're sorry... wait a second. I'll be right back." He gestured for Kevin to wait and walked up to Ricks room.

Kevin sighed and laid on his couch, his hand protectively holding his belly. He knew he had done wrong, but he was pregnant, it was different when you were pregnant...

Alex opened Rick's door and knocked on it once it was already open.
He was hit in the face with a pillow which he caught with a laugh.
"Go way." Rick murmured. He sat up, covering his face with another pillow.
"You crying?" Alex asked.
"Oh, it's you." He dropped the pillow and his eyes were a bit puffy and bloodshot.
"Rick it's alright." He sighed softly, rubbing his back.
"I'm sorry. I know he's pregnant but..."
"Trust me, if anyone can sympathize its me. Mike made me cry a good number of times while he was preggo."
Rick nodded.
"Well Kev is about to come up here, so dry your eyes quick unless you want him to see."
Rick nodded and began wiping at his eyes.
Alex hugged him and walked back downstairs.
"Alright ya can go up now." He said to Kevin.

Kevin made his way up the stair, his stomach knotting up as he opened the door to his and Rick's room.
"Rick...." The name was a soft sigh as he held his belly.

"Hi Kev..." Rick was facing the window as he finished wiping his eyes.

Kevin sat on the bed and moved too look at Rick, a small gasp escaping him at the bloodshot eyes.
"Oh baby im sorry, you know I didnt mean that." Kevin crawled into his lap and hugged him as well as he could with his swollen belly.

"There's something in my eye." Rick muttered as he hugged Kevin. "And I know you didn't. You're just pregnant..." He sighed.

"That gives me no right to say that shit to you....I am so sorry baby, Ill think before I talk now. I love you so much....Im so sorry."
Kevin Kissed right under his puffy eyes.

"It's fine. I'm not a baby." Rick frowned softly as he kisse dthe top of Kevin's head.

"Your my baby. Don't be like daddy and hold it in like that. Imma try and be better for you and you just be you okay? No hiding stuff."

"I'm not holding things in. I just... don't cry. I admit I cry sometimes. But not often. Just cause no one sees me don't mean I don't do it."

"I wanna love you though.....I don't like crying alone, its not fun..." Kevin placed Rick's hands on his belly.

Rick rubbed his lovers belly carefully.
"Well, I don't like being comforted... it makes me feel like a child."

Kevin pouted and let out a sigh.
"Are you happy?"
He bit his lip.

"Not at the moment but I am happy with you." He smiled softly.

"With me....and Rick Jr......Here...dead......" Kevin looked up at Rick.

"Yes baby. I'm happier than ever up here." Rick kissed Kevin softly.

Kevin pressed himself as close as he could to Rick. He was fine here, happier then ever with Rick.
But his stomach grumbled loudly.
Damnit...
