Somewhere With You

"I'd be pissed at him. Just like Kevin was at me for leaving you..." Alex said softly. ANd he would.

"Baby..." Rick sighed. "I don't wanna hurt you."

"Well.....me and you....that was close to fifty years together when you left me....." He kissed Alex's cheek. "And Kevin is special, he never got to have that. Rick is his only chance and I would make Sydney back the hell off."
And he would, he was not just playing favorites.

Kevin continued to ignore him, he was fine but still, he didnt like that Rick didn't enjoy sex as much as he did.

"Syd's never had a chance at it either..." He pointed out softly but sighed. "I know."

"Baby don't be like that please..." Rick sighed.

"Alex. That girl did have chances. I get she is your favorite, maybe Kevin is mine but im not playing favorites. She has Carrie, she did NOT love the man she let fuck her to get pregnant. Kevin did love Rick, I know he did. Sydney had every chance in the world, still has them. She is alive, she was granted life, he wasn't."

Kevin was still pouting.

Alex simply sighed. He would not win this.
"Okay baby."

"Baby please... stop pouting...'

Mike frowned.
"You think im wrong you tell me where I am wrong? You can side with her all you fucking want but if you can back it up, your playing favorites and we all know it."

"Hump"
Kevin unwrapped his legs and pulled away, wincing as he pulled Rick out of himself before crawling back over to his clothes.

"Mike, you're playing favorites too. I'm not. The point is, he was Sydney's first and I think I've been pretty damn supportive of him with Kevin even though I was upset about it at first."

"Baby come back here. If the only thing that will make you quit pouting is me fucking you until I'm tired then I'll do it." Rick sighed.

Mike got within two inches of Alex's face, daring him to continue.
"Alex Riley....I an NOT playing favorites, yeah, Kevin is my baby and I love him and im closer to him than any of my family. But I did tell him he was wrong fro taking Rick but God damnit. Alex, she has had several boyfriends, and Rick was not her fist, that tim guy was because she was stupid enough to give it out to him. Kevin has never had another person and he did love Rick when he did it."

Kevin frowned at him.
"Im not forcing you...."

Alex rolled his eyes.
"Mike please, just knock it off. We aren't going to agree on this so lets just stop fighting."

"Baby it's not like I don't want to do it. I just know it will hurt you." Rick sighed.

"You know what Alex, take that and shove it up your ass." Mike got up and stomped off in huff of blue eyes, pale skin and brown hair.

"You should have just keep on." Kevin looked bothered, worried because Rick didnt enjoy it as much as him.

"Mike, you need to quit being like this!" Alex exclaimed, exasperated with the constant fighting.

"Baby no, I can't hurt you." Rick frowned.

"Like what Alex! You dont wanna be with me then go fucking to Daffy's and find Lane, we both know you want to!"


Kevin looked up as he heard his parents yelling. He immediately looked worried and bothered.
"They're at it again..."

"No I fucking don't! Part of me wants to but I WONT! I LOVE YOU ASSHOLE!" Alex screamed.

Rick sighed.
"Aren't they always?"

"It dont mater because im an ASSHOLE! The same ASSHOLE that had and raised your fucking babies and was with you when no one else was!"

Kevin shook his head and climbed into his lovers arms.
"Me and you wont be like that, will we?"

"GODDAMNIT! Mike, you don't fucking care! Not giving two shits that I'm actually trying! If I WANTED to be with Lane I could be! I could have never let myself die so I could come be with you! I could still be alive probably! I could have fucking had Lane's children! But I didn't did I?!" Alex exclaimed.

"I hope not. I don't like to fight though. I usually talk things out. So I don't think we will." Rick nodded.

Mike was not listening he was simply sitting outside the door, his head in his heads as he seriously considered leaving.

Kevin shook his head.
"I couldn't do this with you....I dont wanna...."
He wore a deep frown. he was scared.

Alex had sat back down on the couch, his head in his hands. Would he and Mike ever get along?

"I don't want to either baby. I don't think we will and if we do, it won't be that bad."

Mike couldn't leave, Alex might not give a fuck but he was not the kind of man to just walk out.

Kevin looked up at him and bit his lip.
"Promise me we wont be like that...Please.."

Alex didn't think Mike would... he hoped Mike wouldn't leave...

"I promise you baby. If we fight it will not be as bad as your parents." He kissed Kevin's cheek.

Mike didn't know what to do though, he and Alex would never be like they were....


Kevin nodded and hugged Rick close, nuzzling his neck.
"We will have a good, stable family..."

Neither did Alex. He decided just to wait and see if Mike came back withing the next few hours.

"Yes, yes we will... except for when your insane parents are screaming." He smiled softly and kissed Kevin sweetly. "And yes, I'm just joking, don't get upset." Rick smiled.

Mike had gone outside and sat down in the green grass which sparkled with dew.

Kevin shrugged.
"We need to straighten them out. We really do, they wont be together long if we dont."

Alex walked outside and did not see Mike sitting there. He was around the side of the house, not out front. He went to Daffy's, figuring he was there.

"We do... we gotta think of something." Rick nodded.

Lane was laid out on the couch. Daffy, Sarah and Dewayne were gone to get some things from Sarah's and Quincy was with Quinton.

"Got any ideas?" Kevin looked up at his fiance imploringly.

Alex knocked on the door, sighing as he hoped Lane was not home.

"Not a one... you?" Rick frowned sligtly
