Mending

"I know I am but so are you, now do you have anywhere to go?" Mike nudged him.

"I ain't going back to that fuckface's house so no..." Zack cursed.

"You dont know me, I couls be some cerial killer but you can come home with me." Mike offered, he was never this nice.

"Okay..." Zack normally would have been hesitant about this but he was too drunk to have good judgment.

Mike took him and drug him out of the bar and put him in Mike's truck. He ignored the drunk man as he drove to his appartment.

Zack was sound asleep by the time they got there, his face contorted and smushed against the window.

Mike laughed at him before getting him out and carrying him into the room and laying him down on his bed.

Zack sleepily reached up and tugged Mike down on the bed beside him. He was too used to having someone to cuddle with.

Mike laid but looked over at Zack.
"Just what in the hell are you doing?"

Zack was out again. He was sound asleep as he nuzzled Mike's neck, murmuring the name Curt in his sleep.

Mike sighed and held him, ignored the mumled name.
"My name is Mike."
He didnt mind.

Zack simply smiled, his dreams nothing like reality as he held Mike closer, his head buried in the crook of his neck.

Mike let it happen, the man was hurt so why not? He just went to sleep.

Zack woke up the next morning with his head pounding. He groaned as he nuzzled what he thought was Curt's neck.
"Curt, baby, what the fuck happened last night?" He sat and went to kiss his lover's lips but cursed as he realized it was not Curt who lay beside him.
He put his head in his hands as he remembered yesterdays events.

Mike stirred, his eyes sliding open to see Zack.
"I told you ten million times, im Mike."

He remembered walking in on Curt fucking someone else but that was it.
"Where the fuck am I?" Zack groaned.

"My house. You made an ass outta yourself at a bar last night and had no where to go. I let you come here and you pulled me down and snuggled me." Mike answered.

"Fuck I'm sorry..." Zack cursed as he massaged his temples trying to think clearly.
"Did we... y'know...?" He looked down and saw he was still fully clothed but still.

"No, I dont do that to people and you were drunk off your ass, the most we did was cuddle." Mike stretched.

Zack sighed of relief and ran a hand through his hair.
"Well I'll leave... thanks for letting me spend the night..." He had nowhere to go but he couldn't let this stranger take him in.

"Youn don't have too, but you can if you want to. Either way imma go cook." Mike stood up and patted his shoulder before stalking into the kitchen.

Zack nervously followed.
"Er, Mike you said right?" He paused but didn't wait for an answer. "Would you mind if I stay for a day or two? Just til I find some place to go?"

"I don't care, your not bothering me." Mike's head was in the fridge as he replied.

"Okay..." Zack trailed off and left the room. He sat on the bed. He had none of his things... they were still at Curt's.

"Whats your name?"
He was going to make this interesting.
