Somewhere With You

"Rick...I want more children...I....If....."
Kevin was getting himself upset over this.

"Baby... I guess I can't stop you...." Rick sighed. "If you want babies..."

"Rick damnit! I want you to want me to have your babies. Im not going to have them without your consent. Im not going to have a kid and then have you reject it." Kevin stared at him with a trembling bottom lip.

"Kevin you look here and listen good." Rick said lowly, grabbing Kevin's face. "Of course I want your babies. It's not the kid I have a problem with. It's watching you cry and scream in pain when it kicks. Watching you give birth and scream, and see Mike cut you open. Watching the consciousness fade from you. Having to go in and look at that baby and gush over how adorable it is with Mike instead of you. Raising the kid alone for three months, putting it to sleep every day to come in and cry by your side, begging you to wake up. THAT is why I don't want to get you pregnant again Kevin."

Kevin whimpered and hugged Rick to his chest.
"Im sorry baby....Im so, so, sorry for leaving you." Kevin held Rick tightly.

"Baby you couldnt' help it. Don't apologize." Rick sighed, thinking. "Kev i-if you want more babies, we can adopt. Hell, if you want them to really be yours... I g-guess you can top me or something." He looked down intertwining their fingers.

"My legs dont work. And.....im supposed to be momma. Rick this is not fair to you. Im the girl. I have the kids. Im momma...."

"I-I know..." Rick sighed. He really didn't know what to do.

"I gotta do something...." He looked at Rick. Sure he wouldn't really like it but.....
"Do you want momma to find the baby Sydney had aborted?"

"Uhm...." Rick blinked a few times but then grinned softly. "Now, youre its mommy I dont' care what it or Sydney says." He hadn't even thought about that. "Baby, we can have that baby too." He smiled. "Wait... will you be okay with it? Are you like Alex?"

"Im fine Rick. I wont be like daddy, he.....he hurts momma when he rejects Dewayne like he does. If it weren't for him Dewayne would be here too. Hell, Aaron might even be here. But no, Daddy wont let that happen. Im not doing that. So its good, I can go tell momma right now."

"But Kev." He took Kevin's face in his hands and looked him in the eyes. "Will this baby upset or hurt you in anyway?"

"No."
He stared Rick in the eyes. He hated that his belly churned but he was going to give this to Rick. He was a good lair when need be.
"I want another kid."

But he couldnt lie to Rick. Rick knew him far too well.
"Well not this one. Don't lie to me."

"Rick, I want this kid. Im not kidding. Imma tell momma to find as soon as I see him." Kevin smiled and kissed Rick softly before laying down.
End of Discussion."

"Baby, it'll upset you. You don't want to be like Alex nad make me give it up but it'll hurt you you just wont say anthing..." Rick sighed.

"Rick Sweetheart. I said end of conversation. Im going to bed I dont feel good." He looked up as he heard his mother's voice outside the door.
"MOMMA!"
Mike opened the door. "Yeah baby?"
"Ummm Sydney had a kid but got an abortion. Its Ricks. I want it..."
Mike looked surprised before looking at Rick and sighing. "Okay baby....Ill see what I can do, night night." Mike smiled as his night night was returned before closing the door.

Rick glared before standing and going after Mike.
"Mike, that kid is gonna upset Kev. Don't worry about finding it please. He's lying to me but I can see right through it."

"Rick. He is dead set on having that kid and imma give it to him. Be grateful he is letting you have it baby." Mike sat down on the couch beside Biddy.

"Mike, I don't want him to hurt... I don't want it if it'll upset him..."

"Rick. I love you to death and you want this kid. Maybe he will learn to love it. Im going to find it and im going to bring it home. Thats it." Mike leaned against Biddy who was leaning against Higgy.

Rick sighed as he smiled at Biddy. He paused, taking Higgy in again, he gave him a nod.

Biddy gave a soft grin as Higgy nodded back, his arm tightening around Biddy. Mike kissed Rick's cheek.

"Mike don'ttt." He whined. "I'll be fine. I'm sure whenever Syd dies she'll get him..."

"She got an abortion. I would not let her have him. Fuck that. Kevin, weather he wants it or not, will treat the kid better."
