Somewhere With You

Kevin sighed and folded his arms before laying his head on them, a sure sign he was tired and sick.
Biddy moved to go check on his but Higgy had him on lock down.
"Lemme go, I wanna talk to Kevin."
"Biddy...."
"Oh come on I wont hurt him!"
Higgy gave him that look.
"Can I just flick him?"
"No."
"Pinch him?"
"No."
"Pop his ass?"
"No god damnit!"
"YOU NEVER LET ME HAVE ANY FUN!"
Higgy rolled his eyes and pushed Biddy out of his lap.
"Your being worse than he is, you are the one who needs their ass beat now get the fuck up and away from me." Higgy snapped.
Biddy hesitated but when Higgy growled and scrambled up and over to stand beside Kevin.
Kevin glared at him as did Mike.

Rick finally realized what Kevin had meant. Higgy was obviously abusive. His eyes flickered from Higgy to Biddy for a moment before they went back to his son as he spoke.
"Alright, the scrawny one's my grandma. The cripple is my mother. You're my dad. So who is the psycho?" He pointed to Biddy. "The big dude?" He poitned to Higgy. "And the jackass with the red face?" He pointed to Alex whose face was indeed red. He was growling.
Rick paused a moment before slapping him lightly across the face.
"That is your uncle." He pointed to Biddy. "Your uncle's boyfriend." He pointed to Higgy. "And your grandfather. " Alex. "Now you WILL knock the attitude off or I wil not hesitate to punish you."
"Better Biddy?" Rick smirked as Zac glared.

Biddy grinned at him and gave a double thumbs up.
Kevin shook his head and wrapped an arm around Biddy's neck before giving him a nugie. Biddy yelped and pulled away, shooting Kevin a bird before looking at Zac.
"Im a bad influence on him arent I?"
"No, no one is studying your stupid ass," Higgy growled.
Biddy frowned and glared at him. "You know what you can do fuck face." Higgy stood up and got nose to nose with Biddy, his jaw clenched.
"And what is that bitch?"
Biddy gulped, not back down until Kevin took his hand and tugged. Biddy lowed his head and sat back down beside Kevin as Higgy took his sat on the couch.

Rick glared at Higgy, then looked back at Biddy. Why, he was with him was a mystery... Sure, Rick wasn't even attracted to anyone but KEvin but if he was not with Kev, he would certainly like to get to know Biddy better. Plus he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. He took Zac's hand.
"You, go up to your room." He snapped. "The adults are going to have a talk which does not concern you."
"Er, slight problem with that. I don't know where my room is." Zac rolled his eyes.
"I'll show you." Rick led Zac up to he and Kevin's room. "There's your bed." HE pointed at one of the two beds. "The other is for me and your mother."
He walked back downstairs as Zac laid down with a groan.

When Rick came down Biddy looked at him.
"Well that kid is a little joy aint he?"
Kevin flicked his ear.
"You hush."
He simply pouted. Higgy stood up and gave him a disgusted look before leaving the room.

Rick simply chuckled.
"There's a heart in there. Somewhere. Gotta be. There's a part of Syd in him. I love Kev more now but Syd was a sweet girl." He paused, glacning at Biddy and then Higgy as he left.
"Biddy, why?" He asked.

Biddy looked up.
"Why what? Why am I still here? Well momma said I could stay and you were okay with it. Or, or now, why I think Zac is a brat? Because he is."
Kevin slapped his own forehead.

"No, why are you with him?" HE jerked a thumb to the door Higgy had exited. "I mean I'm not trying to upset you, I just..." He frowned. "ANd no, I do not care if he hears me."

Biddy shrugged.
"Why not? All he did was say a few mean things to me. The son of a bitch is Bipolar, he will be fine by the time I gotta see em again." He smiled at Rick.

Rick simply nodded with a shrug.
"He just doesn't seem too good to you is all. Just concerned. My brother loves you so I already do." He smield.

Biddy smiled at him softly.
"Well same here, he just makes us love people, he has that power." He grinned at Kevin.
Mike was seething.

"Mike hun, calm down." Alex cooed softly, calming down a bit himself.

"Alex, did you not see how he just treated my baby, our baby, YOUR baby.' Mike was pissed as hell, his face red.

"Yes baby I saw it. Just remember he's a kid. He's probably lived alone for his whole life, he's pissed. He's just getting his anger out. I'm sure over time he'll mellow down."

Mike nodded and sighed before looking over at Biddy helplessly.
He hated that. He hated the way Higgy treated his baby...

"Oh and Higgy, pfft, the second Biddy gives me or Rick the okay, he can be taken care of. That was not cool...."

Mike looked up at Alex before sighed and walking off the check on his baby's.
That was not cool? What in the hell, that was his son but then again it wasn't really so Mike just shrugged it off.

Alex sighed and drug a hand across his face. It was not a big deal to him. Sure, he thought Higgy was an asshole and it pissed him off but he was not going to freak over it.

Mike was, he knew that it went beyond the verbal lashing.
When no one was around, that is.

Rick had his suspicions... he just knew... he always seemed to know things like that.

Kevin had his head laying on his arms again.
He was fucking cripple and EVERYONE could see they, they just didnt say it. He felt like he was going to puke and he was tired. Biddy was trying to help, his head also rested on Kevin's arms as he cooed gentle words to his older brother.

"Baby," Rick cooed, kneeling beside his lover. "Why don't we go up to bed baby."

Kevin was hesitant. He didnt wanna see Zac. It fucking hurt him, nearly broke his heart, just knowing that the kid was Rick's....and Sydney's. It just made his heart ache but he would have to deal, he would get used to it.
"Yeah...."

"I love you baby, let's go." He kissed KEvin sweetly, scooping him up out of his wheelchair in one arm and picking up the empty wheelchair in the other.
He carried him up to their room and walked in.
Zac almost cursed. He barely had enough time to shove his pocket knife in his pocket and pull his sleeves up over the freshly cut scar on his wrist.

Kevin looked at him curiously before laying his head back down on Rick's shoulder.
