Justin smiled as the waiter led them to their table. Table 27, the exact same table they'd sat at on their first date. His smile grew and he pulled out Heath's chair. "Have a seat love," Justin said.

Looking at the menu for Justin was useless. He already had both their orders preplanned. He signaled to the waiter and the food was brought out. It was the same thing they had eaten that first night.

Justin waited for a few minutes until God Blessed The Broken Road by Rascal Flatts began to play, just like he'd planned. He smiled and took both of Heath's hands in his. "Baby," Justin began. "I know our relationship hasn't exactly been perfect, in fact it's been far from it, but no matter what, I can't see my life with out you in it." he said. "A year ago today, I told myself my life wasn't worth living without you in it, and today I'm telling myself that again, but today I've told myself I won't have to live another day without you by my side," he paused and got out of his chair and walked beside Heath before pulling a small black box from his pocket and getting down on one knee. "What I'm trying to say is, Heath Slater, will you marry me?" Justin asked.
